Icon4s: Yeah men.... not to also forget Joetex Frimpong, David Solomon Abuo and Michael Ochei.
Those boy been tap ball. That same period Julius Berger was also doing well. Dolphines too came up to emulate Enyimba. i think abwo was with the 2005 set not in the winning side, but the ghanian import and micheal ochie.were also immense, i cant forget dolphin run to the final of confed cup in....thet had quality players too, kelechi osunwa, endurance idahor , efosa eguakun.etc |

Icon4s: I am a big Enyimba Fan. I once used to chose to watch Enyimba games instead of EPL matches but i don't do that any more.
I used to know the starting 11 of the Enyimba team but now i cant even name up to 3 players.
Ask the most Die hard NPFL fan here to name 5 players from his favorite club and see if he can. i remember that golden team of 2003 and 2004 enyimba team, those guys were simply the best. enyema, yusuf mohammed, ajibade omolade, ogbonnaye okemiri, obinna nwaneri, seun ogunkoya, romanus orjinta of blessed memory, musa abubakar captain, oyekachi okonkwo, muri ogunbiyi, ndidi anumunu, victor ezeji, ekene ezenwa, dele ayenuga and rest of the team, those guys are the bomb..they made me fell in love with the team |

so where are the special gems in the league, am sure you are not refering to eze and adeleye... the year enyimba won the champions league they had the best players in the league from the goal keeping to the striking department, no matter thow bad a team prepare or disorganised they are, if you have quality players it will definitely show in the way you play. i insist that presently our league is quite poor, we dont have qualities anymore in the league... TheGoodJoe: Keep in mind that poor continental performances does not mean there are no quality players in the league. When it comes o player selection, it has to do with individuals and not teams. Disorganization, poor preparation and other factors can affect team performances.
We are talking of discovering special gems in the league. |

Kog45: Why always bad example (Uzoenyi) and not good example (Oboboana) oboabona is just a one off case, and were is he today, age has really caught up with him....like i said these guys are old men...they have nothing to offer if we are actually building for the future |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by iamdynamite(m): 10:20am On Sep 21, 2017 |
To me, i think the standard of the Nigerian league has really dropped, as the best players in the country are not playing in the league.
Check out our performance in contiental competitions lately, its been very abysmal, most of the players in the league are old men hardly will you find a 23 year old player in the league..
i have watched both eze and adeleye closely i think they are not up to par, when push comes to shove i'm not sure they can stand the test of times.perfect example is ejike uzoenyi who shone like a million stars during then chan but what happened when the real test came? |

RomeSankara: A careful analysis shows Buhari speech was just about the protection of Sunni Muslims , his condemnation of Govt Crack down on Rohingya Muslims is another major milestone in the anals of Hypocrisy because the Crack down has cost about 2000 lives over a long period while Buhari is on record to have killed and buried over 1000 Unarmed Shias including sleeping women plus children and buried the without recourse to a ounce of remorse or humanity, he is also reputed to have continuous endorsed the Fulani expansionist pogram program under his watch where Fulani herdsmen under his guidance have killed over 3500 people and displaced many more and of recent is the unfortunate Crack down on unarmed Igbo people of which over 500 have been mowed down unjustly under his watch ...People like Buhari's shouldn't be allowed to speak on issued of human rights at all brother lie small small now, at least when you making this kind of weighty allegations you back it up with facts not hearsay....ipobs are bloody liars, i spit on you guys |

Smile31: Critics and perfectionists sometimes make me feel bad, cuz I often wonder why they can't just appreciate the efforts of others and leave it there and just enjoy the moment. They'll always find faults. Whenever I want something to be accepted the way I have done it, especially if I've worked so hard on it, I often avoid such people. I avoid showing them my work cuz I just know they'll spot out something
They are still important though. you just spoke my mind, i have that kinda of person at work, if you see the way i try to avoid her, because no matter how hard i have worked she would always find fault, these kind of people make you feel like you dont know what you doing. |
