MrEbony: I always thought the annual anticipated fund is fund you'd declare to extend stay after a year. Because I put the same block account amount there though I just applied on Monday here. |

dprinz99: Seriously this Forex thing dey send cold down person body.. Just today I saw 530 or so for the Euro on the parallel market. Its like the embassy even knows..lol...first thing the V.O asked me was "have u funded?" Modified: The CBN is offering banks 20 Million Dollars weekly for school expenses, health and a few other Forex needs I just saw the news below on front page. If only top bankers will not hijack this initiative like they would always do, it was suppose to be good news for us. https://www.nairaland.com/3635583/cbn-offers-banks-20m-weekly |

Pervic: She asked my undergraduate course again before printing out the test questions. It pertains to what one studied at undergraduate, in my case Computer Science. For the motivation letter, I decided on my own to write in ink before going to the embassy. After collecting it, she asked for two photocopies. I have read of stories where people were asked to write it there. 3 Likes |

MrEbony: Great! A quite friendly black lady interviewed me..I think she Nigerian...The questions are no different from what people post here everyday.. Did you go to Goethe institute, Do you speak germany, Name of your school, Course you about to go study, How did you find your school, Documents you submitted to get admission, How you applied, How have you prepared for Germany, What you know about Germany, Population of Germany, What you know about the town your school is located at, Countries bordering Germany, How many states has Germany, Name the states in Germany and their capitals, Why you choose the school, Are you coming back to Nigeria, Where you would work when you come, Why didn't you do the masters here in Nigeria, Your motivation, Your Bachelor research topic, What topic you would like to do your MSC thesis in, Who is your sponsor (she asked why not my dad), Why not UK or Canada, Do you have relatives in the EU, Ever apply for a visa to Germany or other EU countries... That's the most I could recall for now. Don't forget your motivational letter and make 2 extra copies..She didn't ask me to re-write a motivational letter (maybe because I submitted it written in ink) but instead gave me a simple test she printed out from the system. 10 Likes |

MrEbony: I'm wondering if what they meant is that one can book using the system where one can pick a date, for Abuja. isn't it clearly stated there that we send the mail to the lagos mail (student@lago.diplo.de) and that one can be forwarded to Abuja for interview where necessary? 2 Likes |

badtboi: Thanks for the reply... I had to send another mail ( i wouldn't have if i had earlier attached my passport data page ) and did everything stated above except merging the PDF documents in one. I hope that would not be a problem though. i wonder why it is not stated in the consulate website. |

A quick one.. I have sent mail to request for study Visa appointment since Tuesday evening, and i wonder if it can take a while to be replied because i haven't goten a relply. Hope I didn't do any wrong?...I attached the admission letter and proof of block account appointment as stated on the website. Am I supposed to state where I want my interview? (i.e lagos or abuja). still waiting for a mail. Modified: Just found out from a previous post that i am supposed to attach my passport data page alongside the admission letter and block account appointment confirmation although it is not stated on the consulate website. i will resend a mail and hope i am on the right track. 1 Like |

honourableseyi: I have done the opening already. Remember the statement I talked about, and you said I may be rejected because of the balance? I went ahead to use it because I was already in Lagos and need the slip I'd get to book for Visa interview. Now I am thinking of booking for visa interview and resending another application for bank account before the anticipated bank rejection comes in. Wonder if anyone has done stuff like this before. |

honourableseyi: If i get you right, it may take too long to get a response from the bank right? I will try booking for both Visa interview and account opening same day then. Thanks boss! |
