Thank you so much DebrahOj: @Iamgrac have you found a way around this? You can simply type the code after the beneficiary name e.g. Flywire Payments (Reference - BCD1153S4)
This was the exact way i did mine yesterday; hope this helps.. |

Good morning Everyone
in the payment instruction i got from CIBC on behalf of centennial college, It was stayed that I am to include a reference number in my outgoing payment, but in the form a there's no field to include such information what do I do? Please View below screenshot for better understanding of my question. And also in the payment instruction it states that the payment must be processed before June 2, and according to what I've seen on nairaland, form a payment takes ages to process. Is there any cause for alarm?

Is it me or does this wait just feel like eternity, it's just 10 days since I submitted my application and it's feeling like it's been months. I keep checking my portal almost everytime. For the sake of my sanity I think I'll just quit nairaland for a while. It'll all end in praise for us all. |

Hi omoba thank you fo your reply I've tried the site multiple times but it keeps saying transaction declined. I sent you a mail can you please reply. Omoba95: I used CIBC to make my payment & it was quite straightforward. You just fill the payment form (it’s like foreign remitta), print it with your payment reference, take it to your bank & they will tell you what to do. It took about 2/3 working days for my bank to debit me & few more days for centennial to confirm my payment, update my account summary & send a receipt. I hope this helps. |

The acceptable statement of account, should be at least 4 months. Are you using the new or old portal? Gokoyer1401: Hello sir, Thanks for the good job you have been doing here.
Is three months statement of account of a sponsor is fine? Also, how can I upload all the documents in "the proof of fund folder" because statement of accounts alone is around 6MB after compressing them?
Will appreciate your input sir. Thanks |

I'm a sis lol A third party sponsor must not necessarily be your blood relative, you just need to prove to the visa officer that a strong relationship exists between you and the sponsor and also explain y he or she wants to sponsor you. Peace ✌️ Favouriteguy: Thank you very much bro. What if this 3rd party haven't supported ever before and he or she is not blood related? |

From the little information I've gotten from nairaland over time Third party sponsorship is allowed You just need to explain to the vo why such person is willing to sponsor you And also is he or she can still sponsor you even after catering for his family needs. And as for what's required, you'll need your sponsor statement of account Favouriteguy: Hello guys a quick question for a friend.
Does 3rd party sponsorship work? If YES, please can someone give a breakdown of what is required.
NB:Sponsor is not related to applicant
Thanks guys |

Below is the link to the website I used to search for the business name https://search.cac.gov.ng/homeOsemigho: If you want to reactive it for study permit, you don't have to. The CAC document is the only thing you need and the main verification point, one government website like that, does not show whether is it active or not. Na those third party site dey carry am for head. I wonder how they got that information sef. |

I did mine 8k, the person collect 2k. Although, it's not necessary for study permit, but if you wish, you can do it. |

So I checked out my dad's business name on cac website and it was tagged as inactive. The business name was Registered around 2019, and since then he hasn't filed for annual return. Does anyone know how I can reactivate it. Because I talked to someone who calls him self an agent, and I was told to pay him 50,000 naira for him to help me reactivate |

Thanks vividlooks: Yes. If your deferral is approved your LOA will read a new due date that will be sometime in November thereabouts. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Iamgrac: 10:13am On May 09, 2022 |
Oh now I understand Thank you very much. mrprolifik: The law states that if you differ for more than 150days from your intended start date then you must inform IRCC and get a new letter of acceptance. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Iamgrac: 10:19am On May 07, 2022 |
Thank you for your response. Does this apply to every school? You mean if I defer for 150 days after September I'll need to inform ircc? mrprolifik: If you defer your admission for more than 150 days you will need a new letter of acceptance from your school and will need to inform IRCC |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Iamgrac: 4:53am On May 07, 2022 |
Thank you so much You've been of great help to me CentennialGuy: I believe if you defer, the new LOA will contain the new conditions. So you should see the new due date. But if you are curious to know when the new due date will be before you defer, then you should mail them and ask them. |

Good day everyone,
A quick question, If after someone is granted a study permit and he or she defers the admission to the next available term. Would the deferment cause any problems for such person? |
