I believe the world exists in layers. Perhaps this is what many call dimensions. Some of these creatures exist in another layer even now, in my opinion. I remember an experience I had in 2005 when I was in school. I saw creatures like the ones here including a dwarf who commanded them. I believe it was very real because by the time I woke up, it was very noisy as the dogs were barking heavily.

Our current form is perhaps the weakest. It is limited by time and space. However, I noticed that even during an OBE, some layers still exist that are beyond what is visible even when out of body. It seems to me that even spirits are in levels and knowledge is perhaps th greatest asset in the spirit realm.
