1. Facebook used to be a safe space where you could openly share your random thoughts and not be judged...
2. ...Posting and updatin status because everyone else was doing it, too.
3. You could open up about anything from music to your inner complexities
4. Like, anything was acceptable to say...
5. It was basically your living diary, full of the most mundane things
6. Remember when you would procrastinate doing your homework with NOTES?
7. And of course, you would post your class schedule ASAP to see if your friends were in any of your classes
8. Two words: BUMPER STICKERS. They added personality to your profile and always got you
9. Honestly, bumper stickers made Facebook cool
10. Writing on your friends' walls and having random conversations for all to creep on And you can't forget the excitement of getting a notification that someone wrote on your wall. This was before all that "timeline" crap.
11. When your friends would tag you in random
pictures that literally made no sense
12. Shit got real with "truth is" and "TBH". You
learned a lot
13. When your BFF joined FB and you HAD to be the first person to write on their wall
14. Poking made you feel all giddy inside... no feeling will ever compare. Not even a like
15. It was the definition of flirting!
16. And remember Facebook GROUPS? And all the random ones you weirdly related to?
17. You were so happy to know there were others like you out there
18. But a lot of times, the groups were just like, WTF
19. If you're still in a FB group, GET OUT OF IT NOW
