President Muhammadu Buhari has lambasted critics of his administration over the state of the economy. Buhari in an interview with Al Jazeera television aired on Sunday and monitored by Daily Post, said it was unfortunate that even some people who kept mute in the last 16 years have suddenly found their voice. He was responding to a question by the interviewer that a cross section of Nigerians were worried over seeming non-fufilment of his campaign promises. “They have to be patient. Where were they in the last 16 years? “We should be judged by the state of things; we cannot perform magic.” Reacting to a question on agitation by Southeast states that allocation to the region has dropped 50percent, Buhari said the drop cut across all states. “Before we came in, crude sold way above $100 but now we are around $30. “Why are they complaining? The reduction in allocation affects all states and until oil sales increase, I’m afraid the situation will remain same.”

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that there are saboteurs in his government. Buhari stated this in an exclusive interview he granted to Al Jazeera Television during his recent visit to Qatar. The president described the controversies trailing the 2016 budget, which he had confirmed was padded, as unfortunate, saying that culprits would be dealt with. Asked whether he meant there were saboteurs in his government, Buhari answered in the affirmative, exclaiming “Certainly”. He also said: “I would like people to assess Nigeria, especially this government on where we found ourselves. When we came in, we found out that there were 42 ministries and we found out that the economy could not take 42, so we reduced it to 24. We also removed 21 permanent secretaries,” he stated. The president lamented that Nigerians should appreciate his administration’s efforts towards reducing the cost of governance.

I never say "I love you too" simply because of this lack of trust issues. Imagine a guy who doesn't show love on a normal day be telling me I love you on phone because he thinks i'm with another guy. Oyo for you! I'd simply reply with "thank you" and hang up. Practice it physically, don't test my love via the phone!
