Svoboda: The only thing to learn is always conduct such transactions through a lawyer who'd carry out the required due diligence. Such transactions have to be finalised in the open. Some make use of banking halls or offices. My friend was lured to an isolated address to conclude the transaction. He went alone and was pitched against a gang of 4 criminals. If you need more elaboration, read up the story about the killing of firman generator owner in 2019. I just checked out the fireman story. Nigeria has always been a terrible place when it come to money issues. Thanks. |

Svoboda: Always use a lawyer. My friend miraculously escaped when a gang of criminals fronting as potential buyers of his property lured him to a location with the intention of strangling him after he'd have signed off his property to them. God saved him. It was a miracle they didn't succeed. Exactly the same thing they did to firman generators owner in Lagos. Please can you drop the full gist I want to learn? ? |

Food › Re: The Hidden Danger Of Falling Food Prices In Nigeria by iamL(f): 11:59am On Jan 24 |
richiemcgold: Subsistence farming is one of the reasons food prices dropped. Many people went into small scale farming in 2025, especially here in the south. If the trend continues this year, food prices will even drop further. You know how many tubers of yams people dey raise from cement bags? Some backyard dey run 300 to 400. Same with cocoyams, potatoes, tomatoes, vegetables, corn and cassava. People are now growing them very well in the neighborhood. The hunger caused by Tinubu's policies has reset the brain of many people. We dey enjoy for South south. Four 6 years till now I don't even know the price of palm oil, yams, corn and others. I have people that planted them and they keep bringing to me while I bake cake, cook fried rice to dash them in return. I just told my elder sister this morning to use one of my bare land close to her to plant anything she likes since I never get money to go dig foundation yet. |

Achilles100: If you are bored and you need to laugh out loud, please watch Fackham Hall. I think its high time I start given the British their flowers for comedy.
I remember a while back that I posted about a British movie Wicked Little Letters that was gold to me then and this is even higher than that.
From entendres, to subliminals in the items and images in the scenes. It is very good as a comedy movie.
7/10 Wicked little letters was one movie I haven't deleted till now, a cool and simple crazy comedy. I will definitely check this Fackham Hall out. |

Chefinnocent: Those rice and beans are not half paint , they are just 10 cups , half paint is bigger than 10 cups The op is sharp. 10 cups is more than half paint, 20 cups is more than 1 paint. That's why market women don't sell if you tell them to count a painter with cups it's only some aboki not even all that sells that way. that's how I buy mine, If i am also buying anything in bags I ensure they measure it in painters in my presence, you will discover that most bags are 10-11 painters not up to 12 painter. |

In the 2nd photo If you look at his face closely and Observe his left eyelid there is asymmetry or lopsidedness of his face with drooping on one side His eyes do not focus on the camera and his facia expression is blank The T shirt does not sit well on him You wonder did he choose his clothes himself? Did he wear them himself?
Observe both arms his left arm is smaller showing wasting or muscle shrinking
It is resting weakly between his legs. Then look at the hand and fingers. on L side His wife is cleverly shielding it
Match the expression on his face with his wife's
I suspect he had some kind of stroke and hopefully he gets rehabilitation and recovers Na you know book pass for this thread. |

STOP 🛑 buying plantains chips especially from those hawkers in traffic. They melt black rubber in the oil before frying the plantains. Their reason is that it makes the plantains chips hard to break after packaging it.. stay safe out there

Someone currently work in a spices company… all they do is go to the market, buy in bulk from popular companies and fill in their bottles and seal with their logo and then sell to customers at higher prices 🙂😅… crazy how customers complement their spices saying it’s the best not knowing it’s the regular one in the market thats just rebranded 😆

Any southerner with such a notion should perish the thought, as they would just be could lulled into a false sense of security! Like i alluded to in my last post on this thread, southern states the terrorists would be comfortable relocating to are those with strong Arewa communities, where they can easily blend in and not stick out or be questioned; states with lax security awareness and structures; and states that have slavish house-nigger governors who’re beholden to the Nigerian hegemonic establishment! I have travelled around and lived in at least 3 continents, and I can tell you honestly, that most Nigerians are a whole new level of greedy, wicked, and corrupt.
I no longer bother arguing this obvious fact with any so called "Defender of Nigeria's Pride".
None of you can ever be more Nigerian than I am... Or love Nigeria more than I do.
We keep insulting Tinubu and all our leaders (and yes, they deserve even far worse for being corrupt and useless)... But, we continue to ignore the unchecked rot and decay in our individual and shared value systems.
