After reading through the last few pages of this thread i can see that the wrong set of persons have infiltrated this place. I registered my first GRE with someone on this thread that i never met before in the spirit of trust! I also referred others to him in the same spirit of trust that permeated this thread. I got introduced to joining the EducationUSA (which eventually paid all my other fees and flight tickets) through this group. Sadly that spirit of trust that was the very foundation of this group seems to have vaporized. I implore everyone to play safe by paying for your registrations directly with your Debit Cards or your Paypal accounts. Although it will cost you more, but you're sure of not falling prey to these criminals that have found their way here. You are sure of not getting scammed or receiving an email of stolen cards or unsuccessful payments from ETS. Remember, ETS can ban one from ever taking the test again for using a stolen card. Save yourself the stress! Save yourself the anxiety and panic! Save yourself!!! Here is a link to my drive, perhaps you"ll find some materials useful for your preparations for those taking the GRE. I have real test questions from persons who took the test and recurred some particular questions. I also have all of the practice questions on magoosh account there. You can also join the GRE Group Study on facebook with over 88k members to get more real test questions and meet people from other countries preparing for the GRE. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1FG14Khx9hUac2NB179Dkq4DuonYFwx9Y If you have a First Class or a 2.1, in the STEM courses, please take the GRE before May. EducationUSA Opportunity Funds program application will be starting by then, if you apply and are accepted, your success is their success and they will go any length to help you succeed. Follow them on Facebook to get the information when the application begins. Am loving the cold here in New York. Its not as severe as we were informed. Remember to play safe. don't because of 20k price difference or so put yourself through avoidable stress and probably pay a second time. One love from here and success to those awaiting decisions i know how it feels when waiting. |
Hey guys! Its being awhile. I've been off the grid for a long time. I want to applaud you all for all your efforts in keeping this thread alive. My success story from taking the GRE to becoming a member of EduUSA to gaining a well funded admission all started from here. It was initially a joke until i joined this place and things began to make sense. Be sure that a postgraduate program is what you really want to do at this stage in your career. Graduate school is demanding, isolating and fun, too. |
Apply. Although, STEM courses are preferred. graciousify: |

I missed one of my application deadline because of uniben transcript delays. I had to petition the DvC and all the staffs involved were issued query and deprived of up coming promotion before they expedited the processing. Follow it up through exams and record Sammiel: |
I used access Bank's visa card last time I sent additional score report. I just used the card directly without involving PayPal and it worked. I was charged 367/dollar tactmayor: |
On Friday night, i became restless when one of my friends got his third acceptance with full funding in Chemistry while none of my applications have made a decision. I was like, "is it that they are not seeing my application?" I just turned off my data and slept off. So i woke up yesterday morning and turned on my data only to receive two emails from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute that i have been admitted for their PhD in Chemical Engineering with full mouth watery funding. Am super excited about the offer! But i am still waiting for Ga Tech and Minnesota so i will just wait. Fall2019, we're going somewhere. |
You are not alone bro! I applied to five schools. Ten person's have been admitted on gradcafe while two have been rejected. Mine is still awaiting decision. Same as the other four. I check my inbox and spam at every moment I receive an email. I even had to unsubscribe from many other email alerts. Gradcafe results and waiting section is now my most visited site. I don tire. Some of my schools deadline was Dec 15 till now no news from them. Mikkyboy: |
insight001:Are you applying for DAAD? |

Quoran:Thanks a lot for the recommendation. Am going for fall19 PHD/Masters |
hilaryxoxo:When it was 2 weeks to the test, I focused more on the issue topics and analyzed all the topics. The ones I couldn't get any idea on what to do, I go online to see what have been written about it. The argument task, I only studied the first 5 pages of the entire argument topics. So during my test I was able to analyze each within 3 minutes and finished writing on time. |
I took the test today. The verbal wasn't surprising and my strategy for AWA worked well for me. Mine was VQVQV. The first quant was a walk in the park for me while the second one was extremely demanding and I couldn't get some questions right. In the end, unofficial scores are V154 and Q163 My profile reads: Chemical engineering 4.65/5 1 published work (undergraduate project) My interest include Fuel/energy engineering and process systems. Which school can I go for with this GRE score? |
Fall2019, somebody should add me to the Watsapp group. 07062303093 |

How can I get Lumsing power bank here in Benin and how much will it cost |
Stark22:You need to always aim for the best. My lecturer once said that if you aim for a first class, either you're able to overcome all the challenges and get the first class or you fall to a 2.1. If your aim is a 2.1., you either overcome all the challenges and get your 2.1., or you fall to a 2.2. You said your aim is always average (i.e. 2.2.) tell me, where do you think you suppose to fall to when you are unable to overcome the challenges that an average performance throws at you? This i think is the root of your problem. Stark22: Good evening, Direction, commitment and enthusiasm? Hmmmmm...Well I've never really been interested in hitting it high, average is what I always envisaged. You need to always aim for the best. whiteNgold:You're always welcomed |
Stark22:I think you lack direction, enthusiasm and commitment. Am a 500 level Chemical engineering student. The poorest g.p i ever had was a 4.39 in my 200 level. I have a passion for a carrier in computer. I self thought myself web designing (HTML and CSS). i am currently learning PHP with a dream of designing my own website soonest. I even have friend in 500 level Petroleum engineering who programmes with Java and yet he is a 2.1 student. What am trying to say here is that your course of study in school cannot stop you from developing a carrier in computer science. Go to programming section of nairaland, most of the programmers and software developers there did not study computer science. You should change your orientation about your present course. Be optimistic, create a time for developing a carrier in any area of computer that interests you and be committed to it. Try to balance it up and do your best to at least improve on your grades. Also remember the God factor, you need Him. I choose programming, sometimes i feel like giving up cause its not easy for me to be teaching myself programming, but i always remind myself of one thing "there is no need to look back when you have alot to look forward to". I pray God helps you out of this. |
The entire Edo North from Auchi down to Agenebode have not seen light for the past 2 months. |
