Politics is very expensive, Nigeria has 120,000 polling unit, each party needs at least a paid Agent for federal election. If each agent is paid just 5000 for transport and monitoring 120,000 * 5000 = 600m just for monitoring. At least 10,000 naira worth of campaign materials 120,000 x 10,000 = 1.2billion naira. That is N1.8 billion on minimum campaign Poster and party Agent to at least paste it. With my naive estimate how many people can cough out 3billion for presidential, without wanting to steal 100bn in return
