You need professional civilian contractors ie mercenaries that have the experience, that understand guerrilla warfare to fight the terrorist brutally! Of cause their motivation to place their lives in harms way is "dollars" and the love of war.

Shebi apc and zombies including my very own blood brother cried fowl when Jonathan administration hired mercenaries to crush boko haram just before the elections. The newly acquired t72 tanks and other military equipments had just started arriving. They were being crushed! I saw a video where whites flew our mi 35 helicopters leading the charge against boko haram.
Buhari said it was a disgrace for foreigners to lead our armed forces and canceled the contracts. Fools said buhari was a general and will lead the troops. He will direct his generals to move to bornu to lead the fight. I laugh.
Remember the 10m usd in the aircraft heading to south africa to acquire arms and pay civilian military contractors? They said NSA was stealing money.
Now we are back to square one.
There is no way our troops will defeat boko haram because of vested interests.

Like many problems facing Nigeria, we replace a problem with another. Bottom line is; Truth (Right or Wrong)is formed from our little thoughts and perception of the world around us, and we start sharing them with our immediate family, till it gets to the society. The idea of education is someone's thought, same as religion, culture, technology and what right or what's wrong. Thoughts make us superior to all animals, as no other animal dreams, imagines or have vivid thoughts

In short simple terms, buhari needs to rehire your company to help us fight boko haram?
And the best time to reiterate this point is when Nigeria just lost some of our gallant fighters?.

I hope Us army also called him for a contract hire when they lost 4,424 men in Iraq and 2,372 in Afghanistan .

Our gallant men of the Nigerian Army had held our territory safe this past few years without the capture of any territory, with their sweat and blood. They get ambushed and killed due to lack of supplies for their hardwares rather than find a way to support them and boost their morales.. We are thrashing them by supporting this jobbers

Its very clear that boko haram has turned into a billion dollars industry with many benefactors(like the arms dealers, meceneries, defense contractors and corrupt government officials) and Nigerians the sole lossers (same losers still politicising it out of sheer ignorance).

In Nigeria only a President can order an airstrike, there is lack of synergy between the forces no doubt but calling for an airstrike isn't a straight forward thing like you watch in the movies.

Airforce always like to first make a thorough surveillance flight of the intended area to lunch an attack before beginning an air raid to avoid civilian casualties (like the idp scenario) or worst case scenario hitting the Army men they came to rescue.

Except on routine patrols and special operations, air force assets are not deployed any how, and fighter jets are not airborne 24/7 like in the american movies (due to lack of resources for such, and exposing them to surface to air missiles).

Us Army had a total of 4,424 fatal casualties while 31,952 were badly injured in the war In Iraq alone, Even same Us army men were killed in Niger republic by this same terrorist. So please don't make it seem like Nigerian Army ain't doing enough

In view of the video posted, its very clear the base only lacked adequate supplies which the invaders took full advantage of, it wasn't like there were no hardwares like T4 tanks or APC on ground, or the soldiers had no riffles of their own, but am guessing they had exhausted their supplies and before getting a replacement they were ambushed. RIP to the fallen heroes

The military don't work that way, after recovery of all the bodies or confirmation that no one survived out of the captured soldiers or no MIA soldiers who simply abscond, then their families get notified. For now they are still unknown soldiers or john doe. the road is being constructed , hOwever there was so many bad portions , also my vehicle had its aux gear on, when i got to the pebbles / granites left on the road , my car started drifting and fell on driver side , falling on my hand as well
