I can't but wonder why an HND holder will want to convert to BSc. If you wish to have BSc why not go for Direct Entry after your ND or get direct university admission from 100L. The top up program and the way it is been run by some universities is already making it to look like a shortcut or easier route to BSc. I believe there should be no need for conversation, each should maintain their uniqueness. |

therealMcCain:Do you have NSE already? That is the only way you can go about this route. If yes, just proceed with your COREN Registration, when you are registering and you get to the Association part of the application, insert your NSE number, that way, you wont need to write COREN exam again. |
This is dead on arrival, an average northerner will prefer another 4 years of Tinubu with guarantee of Power returning to the North than take chances with Obi who can't be trusted to not seek a second term... |
Cmanforall:So was Cameroon successful with it when they raised it? |
This matter is quite tricky, it's like the Yoruba proverb that says "Oro yi so sini lenu, otun bu iyo si". If DR Congo are indeed guilty of fielding ineligible players, then it's their own undoing and doesn't mean Nigeria is the reason for their loss, the only reason why Nigerians are been skeptical about the whole thing is because what if Nigeria eventually won the case against DR Congo and then went on not qualifying at the playoffs eventually, also been a sport country who also likes to feel like a big brother to other African countries, we are just pitying DR Congo considering the effort they have put into the competition to get to that stage and sincerely, I am sure that DR Congo will adjust their constitution that says foreigners will have to relinquish their foreign country if they will be able to become a Congolese. However, the question is, if positions are switched, and DR Congo were to be in Nigeria's shoe, would they have let it slide? The answer is no |
Please is there any news when next COREN Council Approval list will be out? |
Some people are just out there looking around for bad news about Nigeria. See the way they are all masturbating on a news that is not true, I don't blame you all, you prefer to read the law from the news than to actually study the law itself. Deducting money from people's account is the last resort and it will have to be granted by a court of competent jurisdiction. Plus who told you the government is willing to go through the rigors of taking you to court just because of 20k, 50k or even 100k tax that you will pay? The government is out for the big boys, so don't allow them use you to fight their own fight. |
Jasswill:Even when you have been recommended, it will still be at 60% until you are approved and you pay the 68k approval fee. That's why I was asking if you have been recommended for Council approval. I heard there will be a council sitting this coming Thursday, those who have been approved will likely be able to pay the approval fee as from next week. |
MacJoseph200:Have you been recommended for council approval? I heard that there's likely to be a council sitting this coming last week of January and that the list of January batch 2026 of approved engineers will be released afterwards. |
ItsTime4me:It's not that difficult, but the best thing to do is to locate any NSE branch in your area and then ask them to help. This is because with NSE, you are expected to have been a member at your branch before application for becoming a corporate member. Process includes paying for application, and then signing your acknowledgement form by your branch executives, you will also need two proposals who are financially upto date to recommend you. You will need to attend a compulsory online workshop, write a compulsory online exam and also a compulsory oral interview that is also online. However, if you already have COREN, you can join through the association route |
Blessedgod:When is the next approval list likely to be? |
Blessedgod:Please, I have applied through the NSE route, when am I likely to get certified? |

NNPC should be scrapped, they are the main problem of this country, how can a parastatal like that underperform by 93%? |
As good as the Bill is, the fact that UN and Transparency International will be part of those to choose the INEC commissioners for us is dead on arrival. Why on earth will anyone even think in that direction? Nigeria is an independent state and so it will remain |
BAT is not GEJ ooo, he already has his game plan, make dem do coalition from today till tomorrow, BAT go do second term, by then PDP and APC would have had 16years to run the country, it's that time that opposition should target to win back power, but 2027? Make them forget am. |
Policies yielding for the government, hopefully it will yield to betterment of life for the people too. |
For me, this is just like the final, whoever wins this game becomes the champion. Where can this be streamed live please? |
AMINDA:You said the same thing in 2023!!! |
Under estimate Bola's political sagacity at your detriment. |
zombieHUNTER:You know for sure that what you just said now is not true, you are just trying to gain a political point. |
Thanks to Jagaban for restoring peace across the country. |
tommy589:Hmmm, thanks so much sir |
dawnomike:Please do you know any of these aluminum companies? |
EDOSBROWN:But I don't know those companies, do you know any of the companies please. |
Hi Nairalanders, please, how do I go about my house roofing so that the carpenter won't cheat me on the Aluminum Sheets. He has given me the price per square meter for different levels of thickness such as 0.45, 0.50 and 0.55. The issue now is, if I pay for 0.50, how will I be sure that he both 0.50 and not 0.45. Is it possible for me to visit the company together with him and then pay directly to the company's account? Please I need your advice. Mods please help push this. |
If this were to be in Nigeria, his security details would have been removed. |
So I am at a decision crossroad of the type of Pop I should do. The first image below is a straight edge design, I felt these is quite common of recent, so I was looking for more options. The second image is a curved edge design that I found, on sending it to the POP guy, he advised that, the design is old design. So I thought I should ask Nairalanders if there is any specific difference in these types of POP designs and is it true that the second design is old?

Luckysbab:The Christian faith is one that is very peaceful, we need not do anything to tamper with the authority of the king, thus, he does not need to dictate anything to us. On several occasions, the past Soun has however meddled in the affairs of the church, notably when there are rancours among the people and the Christians have never taken it to be a bad thing, Sòún is the head for everyone, there's nothing like Christian Sòún or Muslim Soun. Also, on several occasions, Sòún had in the past had to shift Egungun Festival or Oro Festival usually due to its clash with Ramadan fasting and yet, the traditionalist had never questioned Soun to be a Muslim and thus can not meddle in their matter. So all this Christian Sòún you are saying, I don't understand what that means, Sòún is Soun and whenever a matter is seen to be one that will affect Ogbomosoland, he has the right to meddle into it. |
