I can't but wonder why an HND holder will want to convert to BSc. If you wish to have BSc why not go for Direct Entry after your ND or get direct university admission from 100L. The top up program and the way it is been run by some universities is already making it to look like a shortcut or easier route to BSc.

I believe there should be no need for conversation, each should maintain their uniqueness.

Do you have NSE already? That is the only way you can go about this route. If yes, just proceed with your COREN Registration, when you are registering and you get to the Association part of the application, insert your NSE number, that way, you wont need to write COREN exam again.

This is dead on arrival, an average northerner will prefer another 4 years of Tinubu with guarantee of Power returning to the North than take chances with Obi who can't be trusted to not seek a second term...

This matter is quite tricky, it's like the Yoruba proverb that says "Oro yi so sini lenu, otun bu iyo si". Deducting money from people's account is the last resort and it will have to be granted by a court of competent jurisdiction. Plus who told you the government is willing to go through the rigors of taking you to court just because of 20k, 50k or even 100k tax that you will pay?

Even when you have been recommended, it will still be at 60% until you are approved and you pay the 68k approval fee. That's why I was asking if you have been recommended for Council approval.


I heard there will be a council sitting this coming Thursday, those who have been approved will likely be able to pay the approval fee as from next week.

It's not that difficult, but the best thing to do is to locate any NSE branch in your area and then ask them to help. This is because with NSE, you are expected to have been a member at your branch before application for becoming a corporate member. Process includes paying for application, and then signing your acknowledgement form by your branch executives, you will also need two proposals who are financially upto date to recommend you. You will need to attend a compulsory online workshop, write a compulsory online exam and also a compulsory oral interview that is also online.

However, if you already have COREN, you can join through the association route

Hi Nairalanders, please, how do I go about my house roofing so that the carpenter won't cheat me on the Aluminum Sheets. He has given me the price per square meter for different levels of thickness such as 0.45, 0.50 and 0.55.
