Politics / Re: Godswill Akpabio Takes Oath Of Office As Senate President (Picture) by IamNat: 9:48am On Jun 13, 2023 |
Another blow to obidients, they keep falling back to back. We told them BAT no be GMB, BAT knows exactly where he's going and he's ready to pursue it with all his might, unlike GMB that accepts anything as long as he's not affected. Finally, that Uzor Kalu go learn, he was never a Tinubu supporter, he no just get choice. And to think that these obidients are against Akpabio just to spite Tinubu, the same way they supported Emefiele on the cashless policy just to spite their sworn enemy. And they were vehemently against M-M ticket, but here they are, supporting another Muslim. They just want to have the privilege of saying, "We no tell you before? That's their plan all along to have Nigeria's number 1 to number 4 man as a Muslim." Thank God it didn't work. 71 Likes 6 Shares |

Praxis758: You know nothing about Makinde oga, so please don't say what you don't know, the whole of Oyo state is solidly behind Gov. Makinde in all he's doings. It's only election with small margin that can be rigged, go and look at the margin with which he led his APC opponent in the last election, then you will know he's a man of the people. |

No matter the price of transportation, Nigerians are better off without the subsidy, my own take is that, they should remove it completely, not that tomorrow, they will come back again to say they want to remove subsidy. 16 Likes 3 Shares |

This was a long time coming, it's better to remove the subsidy now since there's no provision for it in the budget. Enough of thieves carrying our PMS to neighboring country to sell for maximum profit. Last last, na wetin I buy I go take charge clients. 34 Likes 5 Shares |

Confusion indeed. By now, they would have become totally aggressive against the May 29th swearing-in, but they are so confused they do not even know what next they should do to salvage their party. 6 Likes 1 Share |

DMerciful: And I'm also asking you if the constitution says it must be televised? I can say Nigerian want it televised and I can say they don't want it televised, why? Because there's no way of measuring if people want it televised or not, so asking me if Nigerians want it televised is a question I can't answer because I don't know how you want me to know the mind of all Nigerians. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Breaking News! Updates From The Appeal Court (PEPT). by IamNat: 1:10pm On May 10, 2023 |
DMerciful: I'm saying the constitution did not say a proceeding must be televised. If it were to be outrightly constitutional, the PDP wouldn't have had to ask for it and all of Atiku's cases in the past would have been televised too. The court would have to look at the Pros and Cons of televising the preceding before reaching a conclusion and if the court decides that it is best not to televise, then it does not mean APC has anything to hide or that PDP is the saint. |
Politics / Re: Breaking News! Updates From The Appeal Court (PEPT). by IamNat: 11:17am On May 10, 2023 |
DMerciful: As long as the constitution do not mandate it that it must be televised, APC has a right to defend not itself but the constitution. How many court proceedings have been televised in the past? If not to sway court of public sympathy, why claim that this particular one should be televised? If anyone is interested in seeing the case, they might as well go to the court, of course not everyone will make time out to go, not because there's no room for them but because they have other things to do. Thus, APC has the right to say no, that doesn't make them anything you like to call, it's just defending the rule of law. 1 Like 1 Share |

DMerciful: Relax oga, why are you guys always in a rush to make it look like someone is against you. Did I say they should not grant PDP's prayer? All I'm saying is they can't just grant it without hearing from other interested party, don't forget that this is not a criminal case. The court is still open for the public, but televising the hearing would have to be agreed upon by all involved parties, since previous cases are not televised, so why would this be different? You don't just force things on people because you feel that's the right thing. 1 Like |

DMerciful: Is it only PDP that is involved in the case? They gave a reason why they wanted live transmission, other parties would also speak in support of it or against it with reasons. That's how it works. 1 Like |

I'm not sure of this news but I wonder why PDP won't just allow the real case to start immediately, they are there talking about live transmission, is like they want to play the spoiler for LP just like LP did for them. |
Politics / Re: Senate Presidency: PDP Senators-elect Reject Akpabio by IamNat: 9:58pm On May 07, 2023 |
OGHENAOGIE: Of course, all I'm saying is either way, an APC senator will still emerge and just like Tambuwa worked with GEJ, whoever emerge will still work with BAT and that's why Tinubu himself hasn't come out openly on Akpabio's case, he just wants to be neutral. |
