This would have been an OK thread but for the denigrating words you used in describing the Ghanaians.
Whatever gave you the right to call a whole nationality those brainless names?

The same people who you claim to have lived among and made a living? Cover your head in shame you mean spirited person.
he has messed up and would pay big time for it.

This is the unfiltered truth. The only good thing about ghana is constant power, which is now bloody expensive.
Life is better in nigeria.
How much do you spend on an average for fuel in Nigeria. Calculate and see that the forma is cost effective. You see the light more often and no need for gen sets. If there were to be constant light in Nigeria you will pay at a high fee to receive it

Penisinpenisout:
You dont know what you're saying, things used to be way cheaper than this during kuffors rule. Then mahamar came and made life difficult for ghanians.
The price of everything from water to electricity increased over 150%. nigerians were okay with this because the naira became even more stronger than the cedis now buhari came which his stubbornness, the Naira cannot even compete with ordinary backyard cedis. I'm so ashamed of west Africa. I see now that Nigeria is falling. An economy of 180million people cant even compete with that of 25million people.
Sad really.
On this note I concur 100% . SuperSupremo , I hope you are taking note.. @ Penisinpenisout as a Ghanaian Nigeria I understand both countries and i share similar views. Waste Africa is a big shame and is evident evidently the high level of corruption. Ghana and Nigeria have be disappointing. And this economic crisis we are both experiencing was purposely orchestrated. I saw both coming but we are divided by tribal lines to even come together and reason. But am optimistic that Ghana will pick up and be back on track. The dumsor has eased and there is alot of investment in the power sector. The oil sector is picking up despite the falling price and the country is promoting some ingrown incentives to boost the economy. So am very optimistic
Cedis was never meant to be ordinary but one of the biggest in the world. Same goes to the naira. But the economies have been hijacked by greedy people and the citizens divided and ignorant. It's not about the size of the people but their vision and Zeal to work towards it with the scarce resources available . Which is evident in nkrumahs vision.

SuperSupremo:
I don't Sir. educate me through
like I said from your post with JiggamanGh I suppose you know enough. But as for me, I love my country and will not see my country falling and not take actions come November. Yes they say Ghana is moving, to what level.? Kufour regime accelerated Ghana from a hipc low income country to a lower middle income. A position that the question has been begging as to why Ghana, one of the most peaceful and economic stable countries with policies that promote business has been lingering with such a meagre gdp.. It took the npp 8 years to help position Ghana and put it on a path way to recovery. Am not saying kufour was any saint but there are facts. Am Not of any party but will do what's best for the country. In 07 oil was discovered in commercial quantities and the ball was set in motion. So much investment poured into Ghana making it the fastest growing economy in the world and became once again an African success story.. But the same ol tribal balderdash you are exhibiting is what got over many Ghanaians and they voted with sentiments. Under Attah Mills the developments slowed down as Attah Mills spent majority of the time nursing his health issues thereby reducing performance. From that time on till now Ghana dropped from being the fastest growing economy to seeking help from imf. Within the space of few years. Like how did we get here there are some things that at this age in time we should not be experiencing . So am not going to look and applaud mediocrity. As it stands, cote divoire that just came out if war is already moving on a faster phase of development. As the oil prices plunge and countries try to diversify to keep their countries afloat. It will no longer be a walk in the park as we have 3 countries fighting to be the full fledge hub of the region. There has to be a change if Ghana is to move forward. And the incumbent does not have it

WHAT DID YOU WANT TO DO IN GHANA?

GHANAINS DON'T LOVE... NIGERIA PEEPS

MOST OF THIER " I LOVE YOU" IS JUST LIPS SERVICE.

MOST GHANAINS PRISON ARE FILLED WITH NIGERIANS.

THE FUNNIEST ASPECT IS THAT .... GHANAINS DON'T GIVE NIGERIANS..... LIGHT SENTENCE.... YOU CAN GET UP 250 TO 500 JAIL TERMS.
If you indulge in activities like the other criminals. You will end up receiving a similar sentence. Smh

What they didn't tell you is that feeding in Ghana is hellish. Trust me, you will remember your homeland. A can of Amstel Malt is 4 Ghana Cedis, can you beat that?. Bathroom slippers is 4 Ghana Cedis, Big Eva Bottle water is 2.5 Ghana Cedis. I can list it on and on. Ghana is not what it used to be, things has changed. I don't like Ghana and I mean no insult. Nigeria economy is still very much prettier than that of Ghana. The only country you can compare Nigeria with in Africa is South Africa and I stand to be corrected and open to be instructed. Just prepare to eat their Okra soup with Tilapia fish, Palm nut soup, Kenke, Banku, Tuna fish, etc. O boy, naija food cost wella. You go miss home die, couple with the sun eh! Kwame and Nana go use you eat their breakfast in the morning, even Kojo and Mensa go do fake resident permit for you if you wan open bank account there. Naija boys don spoil GH. Beg no go Circle, Osun, Kole Gono, Labaddin beach, Adabraka, etc for night oo! Achama is a dangerous place for a cool headed guy like you. Let me greet you in a Phanti language, "Akwaaba!".
What you are experiencing is just culture shock and adapting. It's the same everywhere tho it varies, the same way you will say things are hard in ghana is the same thing in Nigeria. Things have become expensive too. You can hardly find good food to eat. The only quickie meal is Indomie, if you want to go higher usually swallow like small or semi eba or fast food junk etc. Security is so not it. Even by day you gas shine eye. It's the same thing. But that should not discourse him. If he is sure of what he wants to go and do there

The problem with most people is that they like saying bad things about other things that are not theirs. Suddenly everyone has this friend who went to GH and ran back. If this thread were about comparing just plainly comparing naija and Ghana, these same people will have friends who ran away from naija to Ghana and are living beautiful well. Smh
