In 2008, the Akwa Ibom State government embarked on the construction of a multi-billion naira massive leisure and business complex, with the hope of turning the oil-rich Nigerian state into ‘Dubai’.

The complex, named Ibom Tropicana Entertainment Centre, sits atop 168 hectres of land in Uyo, the state capital.

It has a 14-floor storey building, the tallest in the state, meant for a 258-room five-star hotel, a Cineplex (six cinema halls), shopping mall, 5,000-seat convention centre, and a theme park, comprising wet and dry parks.

“My vision is to produce a small Dubai within the Niger Delta (region of Nigeria),” the then governor of the state, Godswill Akpabio, who initiated the project, said in early 2012.

By then the cinema was already open to the public, while the other components of the ambitious project were still under construction.

“I have given them Dubai standard Cineplex,” Mr Akpabio had boasted in a government-sponsored TV programme aired on Africa Independent Television (AIT). “So, you walk in there to watch films and you think you are sitting down in Dubai.”

Making Money Motivates Me

As my boss will always say if there is any thing that motivates him is "Making Money"

As for me there is almost no better motivation out there than make money or should I say making more money. I'm not saying making money will make you happy or money is the most vital thing in life. Far be it. To be sincere with you money has nothing to do with watches, or fancy clothes or cars.
To make money means to have financial security, and it also means freedom in the choices and being able to live that life the way you want it.

Making money legitimately is what motivate me.

sori, u dont have a point

Having sex can be emotionally draining and distracts
there are two hormones that controls human emotions : serotin and dopamine. dopamine controls pleasure. it is the same hormone that is release when you are excited. If you engage in too much sexual activity, it reduces your chances of thinking creatively after the act. so as a businessman, pursue business before pleasure.

I will make you see education in any form as an opportunity to develop yourself. Education is not only in the University, but the everyday experience you find to invest in your mind.

What is in your mind is the level of knowledge you expose yourself to. Study hard and get good degree and you will find a high paying job with great benefit; good! But does school really prepare children for real world?
Education should be the process of facilitating learning, the acquisition of knowledge, skills, value, beliefs and habit.
