HeWrites:"What's small individuals salaries owe by the APC government compared to trillions embezzled ?" You can see how senseless my above statement is... Your comment is x10 senseless. |
okk4sure:God bless you, unlike some people that are still supporting the evil done by that young man... The same people would still be shouting our leaders are corrupt yet they are the supporters of corruption. They've forgotten that, there's nothing like BIG CORRUPTION, little corruption compile to BIG CORRUPTION. If you don't condemn Davido today, you have not right to condemn APC or BUHARI. |
Kdon2:He had made the same mistake his uncle Adeleke made, it seems it's running in their blood.... People don't forget things especially a fresh one like this Davido's. If you know you want to be a public figure, always keep you hands clean..... |
It's not a news how Davido bribed NYSC officials in order to skip the compulsory orientation camp program. Davido went in and out of the camp whenever he liked, he even traveled outside the country when he was supposed to be in the camp.... He publicly broke obvious NYSC laws, it would have been a little better if he broke them incognito..... enough of the story jare. What caught my attention is how he has been ranting on twitter, pointing fingers at APC (A less corrupt entity than Davido). In my view; APC is less corrupt than Davido because APC still pretend to be incorrupt by concealing their corrupt actions unlike Davido that brags about his. This shows that if Davido were to be APC, he would have done worse than what APC is doing. Davido did not only flaunt his love for corruption, he also publicized how corrupt and useless the NYSC Scheme is and also his Family. Yes! Adeleke family is super corrupt that's why the useless Senator Adeleke cannot present authentic result even debate self the man no show........ I love his dancing skills but he's just too poor to be a Governor. And for that Corrupt Davido, He should just keep quite, He has no moral right to condemn APC. |

Benblaq:Plenty and you mentioned just one.... How many people play football ? Many... Messi, Ronaldo, Bale, Mikel, Courtinho, Hazard, Musa, Moses, Mbape, Mane, Williams, Jesus, Lukaku, Ighalo (smiles).......... This is the problem I have with you people, could you be real just for once ? Now give 10 examples of your plenty. |
orisa37:How come Jesus didn't mention Him along with the Father ? Jesus called Him a Helper, an angel could also be a Helper. |
Kingdollar28:To answer you question, Grandpa is the head. Now substitute Father, Son and Holy spirit into your list. Let's represent Jehovah as Grandpa, which is A in your list, Who is B and C ? |
Even me self o! In my opinion, you're just being sincere to yourself, a friend has once told me, her father warned her never to fall in church again and ever since, she has stopped falling... What does that tell you ? You're correct, most of them just form it, just the same way they form speaking in tongues. |
In John 14:28 Jesus clearly states, The Father (Jehovah) is greater than Him but never mentioned the relationship between him and the Holy Spirit. In fact, I can't see anywhere in the Bible Jesus speaks about Holy Spirit being God. Jesus always talks about Himself being in The Father and vice versa. Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. John 14:10 NKJV Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. John 14:11 NKJV At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. John 14:20 NKJV I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. John 17:23 NKJV . . . There are many other Bible verses Jesus only speaks about himself and the Father but never talks about the Holy Spirit until He said he'll send a comforter. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. John 14:16-17 NKJV The above is Jesus' description of the Holy Spirit (He called him a Helper) which would be sent by God... How come people refer to Holy Spirit as God ? and If He's God, is He greater than Jesus ? NOTE: I'M A BELIEVER I JUST NEED SOME CLARIFICATIONS. Modified: Changed Greatest to Greater |
kukutagbe:If Baba has so much power and money how come he can't buy Google ads or pay nairaland for a standard ads ? What am I even saying self, why does Baba need poor people's money since he can make money by himself, Oh! am getting everything wrong already Baba doesn't need money but fame.... If it's fame, Baba should go under bridges in Lagos or Douglas at Owerri there are so many disordered people there, Baba can heal them all and fetch himself the greatest fame in the world abi General hospitals, Psychiatric hospital, Baba should not send poor people like you on a free mission........ SCAM!!! SCAM!!!! SCAM!!!!!!!! |
darkchild64:Where in the Bible did it say the time interval was short ? and how are you saying what's in the Bible by concluding the time interval was short ? Please be rational with your inference.... You guys problem is that you take Bible to be the same as your biology textbook; THE BIBLE IS NOT LITERAL and you can never understand it by reading it as a mere book. |
allenbaker5:I don't have a god but God! Oga, it's clear you don't understand the event; You just picked some few verses just for argument purposes and sincerely am not here to argue with you. God's reason for the plagues was not to send Egypt into famine but was to show them how powerful He was (and still is); I told you to seek for understanding instead of dwelling on some few verses, You might have switched to Atheism because you rush at things you were supposed to take time to comprehend. God intentionally hardened Pharaoh's heart just to ensure he resisted Israelites' freedom in order for God to perform the unthinkable miracles...... From every indications, the plagues were not meant to eradicate Egypt but to display the power of God to Israelites, Egyptians and the world. He would have destroyed Egypt the same way he did to Sodom and Gomorrah if he wanted to eradicate them. If you still want me to answer your questions, please make sure you avoid using mocking words and be constructive. |
allenbaker5:What led The Israelites to Egypt ? To get the food they don't have and take them back to Canaan right ? That means they can easily go to neighbouring countries and get what they don't have. Do we produce phones in Nigeria ? How come we all have phones ? Oh please! be critical with your critiques. Did the Bible says God killed the livestock of everywhere Egyptians could easily get livestock? Why don't you ask yourself and understand the purpose of the plagues, if God wanted to kill all Egyptians He would have done it to ease Israelites' migration. If you want to bring contradictions in the Bible this is definitely not one of them. |
obinna58:I doubt you've read my previous answers and if you've read them and you're still asking these questions, then you just want to argue unnecessarily and am sorry I might not answer your next question if it's just another repetition. Do Toshiba seeks Asimo's (Robot) permission before creating it, do they even need to ? Do you seek your phone's permission before acquiring or using it ? Your problem is that, you're seeing yourself bigger than what you're. Why should a creator seeks a creation's (an inexisting object) permission before creating it ? Please be civilized with your thoughts. The same people that blame Saudi Arabian government for their many restrictions are blaming God for not imposing many restrictions on us. We all celebrate democracy and freedom yet we want God to be a dictator. Why blame God for giving us free will ? Do 98% people have the choice to make heaven or not ? |
allenbaker5:Am sorry am asking you questions as an answer to you question. What was the time interval between the two plagues ? and how long do you think the Egyptian would take to raise new livestock since their feeding almost depend on livestock ? |
obinna58:Let me help you understand your question, your question is: "What's the essence of prison and if you were government would you create punishments knowing that many would err? " Am sure you know the essence of law and you definitely know there won't be punishments without laws ? Do you know Law creates orderliness and law creates punishments as well? Am sure you do. Without law everything would be in disarray that's why you have code of conducts at your workplace to ensure achievements of set goals. Interestingly, punishment is a great motivation to obey laws. Now answer these questions: Did you company know many would err at following the code of conducts ? Do they push workers to err or workers err at their own discretion ? Do they create the laws because they enjoy sacking/punishing worker that errs? Do they leave workers with a choice to err or not ? Are there workers that erred and were sacked ? Do we have workers that stay in the organisation until retirement ? Do Evans (The Kidnapper) had the choice to be free than to currently be in detention ? Can you decide to live the remaining of your life in prison ? Let me help you answer the last question; YES! and it's very easy, in fact you can achieve it NOW! all you need to do is to commit a jail worthy crime and you'll be there in a jiffy; You're currently free because you chose to be free! Just as you chose to be free, you can also choose to make heaven instead of hell.... In conclusion, everyone that goes to hell chose it, do they have the choice to not be there ? DEFINITELY! Is it God's fault that they chose to be there ? NO! |
darkchild64:For there is no partiality with God. For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them ) Romans 2:11-15 NKJV |
kingtinnie:God put the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden to give Adam and Eve a choice to obey Him or disobey Him. Adam and Eve were free to do anything they wanted, except eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Genesis 2:16-17. In order for Adam and Eve to truly be free, they had to have a choice; not just a single choice but many other choices to enhance their adaptability to the environment. Someone referred to God as a tyrant or dictator on the first page which is the exact opposite of God. God always leaves us with choices, although He makes known to us what's good and bad, however He never compels or enforces anything on us. God created Adam and Eve with the capacity to choose to love God and walk in His good ways. That would be absolutely pointless if they were never presented with an opportunity to make a choice of any kind! Man would have been like robots, even scientists here on earth are not pleased with how robots work as they cannot make rational decisions outside the installed algorithms. God created Man and Man was supposed to continue the creation work without God and you think Man should not be presented a free will to make his own decisions ? I don't think so. The forbidden fruit was just a boundary set by God, it could be forbidden location, forbidden touch, forbidden talk..... even angels in heaven are not spared from boundaries that's why we have fallen angel (Angel that crossed the boundaries). Why did God plant the tree knowing that Adam would fail? This question is one-sided and it shows biasness in your thinking. Adam had a choice, and he chose to sin. The idea that he was "bound to fail the test" is false. Consider the angels - some fell and some did not. Adam had just only one law and he chose to default, is it God's fault ? NO! Why did he not foresee the manipulation? This line of reasoning assumes that foreknowledge necessitates fatalism, and eliminates accountability. Both assumptions are false. Yes, God knew what Adam would choose - but it was Adam who chose. Job was presented with something stricter but he chose not to default, why don't you give credit to God on Job's success since you blame God for Adam's fault ? I wish you were a Christian, I would have guide you to pray for the holy spirit ministration. |
darkchild64:Genesis 1:1 says that “God created the heavens and the earth.” Then, Colossians 1:16 gives the added detail that God created “all things” through Jesus Christ. The plain teaching of Scripture, therefore, is that Jesus is the Creator of the universe. The mystery of God unification is difficult to understand yet is one of the doctrines revealed in Scripture. In the Bible, both God the Father and Jesus are called Shepherd, Judge, and Savior. Christ is the exact representation of God the Father, having the same nature (Hebrews 1:3). There are some sense in which everything the Father does, the Son do, and vice versa. They are always in perfect agreement at every moment, (Deuteronomy 6:4). Knowing that Christ is God and has all the attributes of God aids our understanding of Jesus as the Creator. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). There are three important things in this passage about Jesus and the Father: 1) Jesus was “in the beginning”—He was present at creation. Jesus had existed eternally with God. 2) Jesus is distinct from the Father—He was “with” God. 3) Jesus is the same as God in nature—He “Is God.” Hebrews 1:2 says, “In these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.” Christ is the agent of God’s creation; the world was created “through” Him. The Father and the Son had two distinct functions in creation yet worked together to bring about the cosmos. John says, “All things were made through [Jesus], and without [Jesus] was not anything made that was made” (John 1:3). The apostle Paul reiterates: “There is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live” (1 Corinthians 8:6). Ref: GotQuestion The bottom line is that our logic is limited to our knowledge; A logician can never make sense of the unification between Jesus and Jehovah as one God. Jehovah is God; Jesus is God; Jesus = God = Jehovah "IS" in this context is not transitive as Jehovah is not Jesus; This conclusion is not logical that's why logicians can never make sense out of the relationship between Jesus and Jehovah. God beats all logical reasoning..... |
darkchild64:You are correct, They are two distinct personalities but act in unison. This is one among Jesus' words: You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I. John 14:28 NKJV *modified |
Your assertion is very funny, just listen to yourself: Heaven would be boring because of constant happiness and hell would be lively because you'll get used to suffering after some time, really ? If heaven would be boring due to constant jubilations how would hell be lively due to its constant suffering ? And why did you skip the part of the Bible that says there would be a new Jerusalem on earth ? |
allenbaker5:Who told you saints can't die in an accident ? Stephen was stoned to death, Peter, Paul, Luke, John the Baptist.... were killed horribly even as they were obedient to God. You need to be Open minded to understand these things and don't just hold on to a single aspect of a whole, Your perception about God is wrong already and I can't help you as you've mind up your mind not to receive any help. Whoever sees God as a goody goody sky Daddy would definitely get disappointed. Ordinary Buhari is there in Aso Rock and you've never gone to question him on the affairs of the nation and why He was muted for so long about herdsmen but you want to question God. You'll continue to live in disappointed if you still see God as a being at the same level with you. That you don't accept the truth doesn't change it from being the truth, that some groups chose not to acknowledge God doesn't change him from being God. The most interesting part is that, We'll all meet with him one day be it Theist or Atheist. *smile* |
darkchild64:How ? |
OtemAtum:Got to know about Vishnu last year, it has nothing to do with Christianity but Hinduism. |
allenbaker5:*smiles* The phrase “god of this world” (or “god of this age”) indicates that Satan is the major influence on the ideals, opinions, goals, hopes and views of the majority of people. His influence also encompasses the world’s philosophies, education, and commerce. The thoughts, ideas, speculations and false religions of the world are under his control and have sprung from his lies and deceptions. Why do you lay so much emphasis on God's promises without referring to the requirements ? God's promises get fulfiled at a cost (obedience to his laws)... When you obey his laws, he protects you and that doesn't mean you won't go through trials or even die in the process.... The truth is, about 93% of people that have walked on earth are dead; that some group of people feel bad about God won't stop them from dying and meeting God one day.... Be it Theist or Atheist, we'll all die one day. It's crystal clear that God is not tyrannic because he gives us free will to make decisions even now..... Do you think Apple should be accountable to latest iPhone on why they switched from aluminium to glass ? God created You and he can do whatever He likes with you without answering your questions........ That you accept him or not doesn't stop him from existing and judging you after You exit this world. |
allenbaker5:You forgot to refer to natural disasters, many other events that destroy human lives and properties; Why bad politicians govern us...... To answer your question: You have a wrong perception about God and that's the reason many are atheist; God is currently not in charge of all affairs of this world, In fact the Bible refers to Satan as the god of this world. It is true that God created the world and everything in it, it is also true that the world had fallen out of God's plan although he shows mercy to whom he wants to show mercy, thereby intervening in some selected issues; The yardstick for his selections is known to him! Even the Bible says God takes the saint before the evil days. He is God, He's not predictable, He does as it pleases him and He's Omniscient, He's wiser than us and He's accountable to no one. If you use substandard materials to build Your house and you think God will stop the house from falling because you're a Christian, you're on your own. If your vehicle is not in good shape and you drive it, God won't stop accident from occuring... Even people that were going to Redeem camp died in vehicle accident. Is it God's fault that the driver was reckless, the engine or road was bad ? Definitely Not! Why didn't he stop it since he has th power to? He knows best and He's accountable to no one! |
aaronson:He's not the only one in charge of affairs on earth, There's Devil. You only get jealous when you love someone and you don't want them to go astray; God doesn't want to lose anyone to Satan (His competitor), thereby he gets jealous whenever anyone goes astray. aaronson:He created Us, it's out of love that He descended so low to refer to us as his children and He also presents to us free will to make our decisions. aaronson:Evil exists because he gave us free will to choose whatever we want, You can decide to be good or bad; When you deviate from God, you're automatically exposed to devil's trickery; It's not God's fault. |
purem:I understand your doubts, however I'll love it if you can be open minded enough and be civilized with your argument; This is not a win win discussion, let's teach each other; Now to answer your question: There are two Gods: 1. God the Father = Jehovah 2. God the Son = Jesus >>God The Son says "God The Father is greater than God The Son" >> Although Jehovah is greater than Jesus but they make decisions in unison, thereby we refer to them as ONE GOD |
Man2utd:I might clear someone doubt in the process. |
fantasticone1:Then I'll research on them |
