Brother, what you have been saying all along is misleading for real.
You cannot say the Govt has limited number of visas to be issued for the graduate scheme
You cannot say visas are denied on the basis that slots have been fully exhausted
You cannot say the Govt does not want people to access the new scheme by denying visas anyhow
You cannot make reference to a 3 year old video to back up your claims which not only provides no statistics but is merely someone's opinion you agree with.

Brother, the graduate scheme is here for all legitimate graduates as defined on the Government's website.
When people are denied it is either they did not meet the requirements or human error with administrative review as an option.

Tell people to stick by the rules to have lesser issues along their way.
Encourage people to have back up plans
Tell people to follow who know legitimate roads and not all that scary stuff you have been spilling.

Even though you mean well, do it right my Brother.
Well I will leave you be believe in what you feel right, I can't force you to have the same believe us mine. To some of us who have friends working in the embassy, they will tell you that all the points you stated above are true but talk about it in the general public. Let's leave experience to be our best tutor. Have a blessed Sunday.

A lot actually. I schooled abroad and returned home willingly. So did quite a lot of my friends. If we all find ourselves sitting in a bank, doesn't mean that we are there for the same type of transaction.

Everyone has their own motivation for studying abroad and what is a "huge sum of money" to you might be quite insignificant to another.

Your stats are wrong
You are one in a million who had that thought of coming back, the majority don't. I have posted videos on the page so you can watch them and be will informed.

Clearly, you do not have any available stats to prove what you said, you're just unnecessarily scaring people. Desist from saying what you know nothing about. There are a lot of intelligent and informed people here. If I may ask, what's your own Plan B?
Since you claim to be intelligent and informed, then develop your own plan B , can't share mine with you. I have posted links of YouTube videos so u watch go through the post. It's just a few of thousands of Nigerians given their testimony of their experience, you can also go to YouTube to watch more.

There is nothing to think deep about
Stop saying what you don't know.
Where did you get the statistics you placed up there?
People get sponsorship job at the end of their studies, and some people return to their country willingly.
Kindly tell the house at least one person you know or heard that was denied psw for no reason.
How many people do u think returned home willingly? Who gets an opportunity to go to the UK and pay huge sum of money for tuition and return home willingly. grin
Am not claiming people don't get jobs, I will post a video link tomorrow so u watch. Goodnight

The likelihood of not getting the visa is not high.
As far as you follow the rules.
Have you heard of anyone denied without any reason?
Post study visa was introduced 2021(if I am not mistaken), not like it has existed since inception, if they don't want you to stay again they will simply remove it.
Have you thought of the number of students who got PWS visa compared with the number of graduating students? Check it out.

Bourne007:
This is completely incorrect undecided. What has the volume of students coming got to do with PSW?

Did your 5 friends give you the truthful reason as to why they got denied? Of course not
1. Do you know that there are number of people visas are issued to each year?
2. Do you know that the number of people given PSW visas are lower than the number of graduating students per year? It doesn't matter whether you meet the requirements or not, you can be denied. Just like how so many people are denied visas even when all their details are correct and genuine.
Think deep about the above points. I rest my case.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 7 by ibenzerkess: 8:13am On Apr 23, 2022
To Whom It May Concern,
Never place your hope in the PSW visa, because the likelihood you wouldn't get that visa is high due to the volume of students received in the UK each year. Go with the mind set of returning to your country after the close of your program and you wouldn't be disappointed. Some of us are bitter about the UK just because we think we are entitled to work there due to the high fee paid. Am not then saying don't look for an opportunity to work or stay there but we shouldn't think we entitled for that. Always get a backup plan should in case you don't get the PSW.
The greatest issue is that most of us move to the UK (as student) without proper backup plan. I have about 5 friends who ended up returning after schooling (masters degree) because they didn't have a proper plan of searching for jobs.
Please, let's all plan well before we japa or else we will blame them (UK) for something that doesn't exist.

Yes, you can collect it without address, you just have to let them know.

Why would a Uni lose £1m going by your calculation?
Won't the students eventually pay?
Or is anyone here advocating for free education from the Uni?
A student with £15k tuition, and owing only £800 at the end of his or her program should not withdrawn at that stage. He or she can always settle the debt b4 leaving the school or graduating.

And I'm not talking about those who didn't plan and have huge bills to settle. I'm talking about this £800 case. Simple!

It's exploitation and nothing more
1. You have to understand that before you went to the embassy for the visa, you declared that you have the money to pay for your full tuition.
2. You and the school agreed to pay your tuition through installments. And if there are 4 installments to pay and you have defaulted on the second installment, what is the probability you can pay the rest .
3. If said the student can settle his/her debt before leaving the school or graduating. How will you do that if for a whole year you weren't about to get the fees. Remember, once you graduate you have limited number of days to stay in the UK.
4. If you think they are exploiting you cause you own £800 and got dismissed, then go to schools in Europe that are tuition free. No one is forcing any of us to go and study in the UK.

Capitalism and cut-throat biz attitude.
That's wickedness on their part, if you ask me. After all the payments, just £800 debt and you withdrew someone's admission.

Exploitation and nothing more
It's sad, but the reality too is that when you look at it as a whole, you might see it differently too. Imagine about 1,000 students own about £800 that means the university has lost close to £1,000,000.00 (£1M). And normally no one does business with a defaulter. That's why we all need to plan well before going which unfortunately most of us don't.

So if application fee were £100/school you'd gladly spend £500 which is almost 400k in black market rate for 5 schools.
How will you pay it?
Via Naija debit card.
Via Form A or
Via someone in the UK.

Maybe they should introduce application fee.

Humour me Nigerian.
Please stop exaggerating, the highest application fee you can pay is £75 and that's even charged by the University of oxford.
The last school I applied to is the University of Nottingham and I paid £ 50 for the application (go check their website or Google it). The fact that you can't pay for an application fee doesn't mean others can't. Remember this, Not everyone on this platform is a hustler.

Alright... Thank you.

So what do you suggest I do first. Check Google for the schools and apply through their websites?
The only thing I have for now apart from my certificates is my international passport that is still valid for 5 years because I just renewed it last month. cool
Are you applying as an undergraduate or as a postgraduate (masters, doctorate)

God bless you.

Pls which uncle are you talking about and what is the implication of applying to countless schools?
"Countless schools" does not mean apply to all the universities but you can stream your schools to about five so you can increase your chances of admission because some schools will reject your offer and there is no implications to that.

NomzyJust:
Look how boastful you are. "Countless universities".
It is your type that abuses the free application process. If the application was paid, would you apply to "countless universities?"
Yes I would have. If you prefer to stick with one no problem but don't condemn someone who has applied to more than one because the only one you applied to can reject your admission.
I used the word "countless universities" but in my post I referred to 5 schools. Kindly check on my previous post. Thanks.

Waiting happened you want use the admission ️ build house .
Don't worry, those are my areas of experience. And when it comes to applying for admission, it's advisable to apply to about 5 universities so you don't get disappointed.

Hi how much is IHS pls?

Don't know how you arrived at your calculation but each applicant either main or dependants will pay same amount for IHS
IHS is charged based on the duration of your course. And don't forget, each dependant will also have to pay an IHS.
