A Nigerian lady identified as Queen Minic on Twitter has taken to the platform to write that a man does not have the obligation to take care of his wife’s family.

According to Queen, it is the sole responsibility of the woman to hustle and send money to her family. Or better still, it should be a decision the man has to make personally.

She further urged all ladies to be financially independent and stop relying on their husbands for everything.

In her words;

“The Duty of your husband is not to take care of your immediate family. Have something doing.

Governor Nyesom Wike has been seen cooking in the kitchen as he prepares ahead of the Rivers State lockdown.

This is coming after he had supervised the demolition of two hotels in the state for violating lockdown order.

The incident generated debate online.

Recall that the Governor had announced the temporary lifting of the total lockdown on Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt Local Government Areas for two days only, with effect from Tuesday 12th May 2020.

Governor Wike made the announcement in a State-Wide broadcast on Sunday night. He said that the total lockdown will be lifted on Tuesday 12th May, 2020 and Wednesday, 13th May, 2020.

Governor Wike said that the lockdown will be reinstated on Thursday, 14th May, 2020.
