I was called by FIRS at about 1:30pm to come collect my letter and I have gone to collect it..as at the time I went the people issuing it were still making calls so please keep the hope alive..more will be called..I wish us all the best

Pardon me, ‘cos I really do not know how this recruitment thingy works. But if the certificate of compliance has been issued, I do not see how pressure to dump due process is a problem. Just call the successful candidates and let the “powerful people” grumble.

That's my only hope too. I hope DPR can summon the courage to do the unthinkable and defeat them, at least this once.

Most recruitments in major parastatals are nothing but a big sham.

Sir, I wish I have answers too. Its just a mixture of fury and disappointment here all day. As to "who" I guess we all know them.

I'm sure DPR wanted to conduct a flawless and transparent exercise, but it's too good a place for cabals to overlook and allow sons/daughters of nobody have the lion share

The person I'm privileged to be introduced to confirmed everything mentioned on this forum. But he remained sceptical that this exercise is different from all he had seen. So much pressure on DPR to temper with due process. That's why the whole exercise is now taking back seat in the list of their priorities.

He told me not to expect anything soon.

DPR list might not be released this month. So many underground factors delaying it. Can't begin to list them here because they r highly political factors. But be rest assured, no private APL has been released yet as at today (take this to the bank). I can't say for tomorrow but for today, nothing of such. Approximately 80-90% would be on merit.

I have problem believing that 80-90% will be on merit. If the entire process can't be on merit, I DON'T BELIEVE those FORCES can be limited to compromising only 10-20%.

With all due respect to everyone here, I don't believe anyone has any source worth relying on. So good luck to those that will make it to the list when/if DPR decide to continue playing holy and incorruptable.
However, I lost hope in Nigeria. All other recruitments were compromised. I don't see why not this one.
Anyway, I'll be glad if DPR prove me wrong.

We all know that few of the interviewed will get the job. Instead of inviting unnecessarily HBP, why not take our minds off it and continue with whatever we are already doing. If we get the job, glory be to God. If not, let's give thanks to God and appreciate the many blessings we already have.

NNPC recruitment thread is still inconclusive as we speak. Since 2012.

NNPC recruitment was cancelled. Backdoor recruitment took effect in 2015 and 2016

That's what happen when you invite hundreds of thousands for a job slated for a few hundreds. The processing and selection will be one heck of a job.

It's surprising when you applied for a job through Federal Civil Service Commission and still expect a different treatment especially regarding salary. The salary structure is uniform.

If BPP is any different, it will have conducted it's recruitment separately just like NYSC, NIMC etc which are also under the Presidency.

But yes, BPP do recruit staff themselves, with different salary and post them where they want, even the Villa, but they are not on the Civil Service Salary Structure.

Please get your facts right.

Hello everyone.

We should know that there are 2 categories. The regular list and the stake holders list.

The process for those on the stakeholders was faster. I confirmed this when I did my documentation this week.

Don't worry if someone from your state receives APL earlier than you. Ours will follow too, though not promptly.
