Sportwin:Nope, but if you stay married for X years, then you can begin that citizenship kini kan...I have no idea how many years...email me |
Adeniyii2017:Actually there is one in Tammela for football management or so, anyways try and google this "Sami Hypiä football academy".....Begin your research from there....If you follow football well, you should know Sami, he was a centre back for Liverpool back in the day, alongside Skrtel, Riise and co....He owns the academy....So research more on this, and update the house! ![]() |
Sportwin:Tinder is the site for Finnish babes... I don´t know about the others |
cj4humanity:Thanks man...I cannot give up on my football scout dream oh, actually I am reorganizing a lot of things behind the scenes to take on the world! Belgium is cool though, but I don´t know much about it, some folks say there isn´t enough work there, I have a contrary belief though, cos as the EU capital, it should make sense...Anyway, google up and furnish us with info! We learn everyday! ![]() |
odinga1of:Okay! |
Adeniyii2017:Okay nice! Do you mean football coaching school? |
Olorunnim:Very true...100%...but the mainstream press will always subdue reportage |
Joromi12:Whether you like it or not, Nigerians will everly help you to get settled in a new country better than anyone, infact na we we oh....The trick is that you have to use your brain to select the good ones, the way you select beans and throw the rest away....For instance, when I arrived Finland newly, I turned my phone location on and scanned for Nigerians around, and randomly sent friend requests to them, you will not believe it, one of them, a Yoruba guy, I dont know from Adam sent me winter clothes, shoes, earphones, wool socks etc... and we had coffee the following week and I EXPLAINED my challenges at the time to him, he facilitated my first menial job, gave me his old 1994 Honda civic which helped me to hustle wella until I gathered myself together and returned it months later when I got my own car....a typical EUROPEAN WILL NEVER DO THIS...So not all of us Nigerians are bad, some of us are God fearing, even though we are wise to differentiate the bad ones from the good ones, today this guy is like my godfather in this country.. PS: Oyibo nor send you oh, na only your fellow Naija know as e dey go...Infact Oyibo fit even call police for you if you wan use your own worry them...Be guided |
you4me:Yeah check the Norway thread sha for detailed and-on-the-ground info...As for free tuition, things have massively changed from maybe, 5 or 6years ago across the Nordics...It can be free tuition, but before you are granted your RP, you must have a block account in a Norwegian bank, if I correctly understood this...unless you win a scholarship, then you can breathe fresh air from financial issues within, otherwise things have changed massively in these regions... |
IchBinBrait:Ah unfortunately I have no idea oh....well at least not for now ![]() |
IchBinBrait:Yes oh...na why Turku na better city to even base for here, enough business dey happen from there across the Nordics sef |
IchBinBrait:Yes you’re correct, that’s why we have this thread for information flow, to benefit us here in Finland and others trying to cross over...The problem is that helpers will only be gingered to assist when the searcher himself is serious, in my time the Nigerian guys that helped me from Nairaland here did so because I kept in touch and followed everything they told me bumper to bumper, imagine communicating with faceless guys for nearly one year till they even picked me up from the Helsinki airport when I touched down... |
Here’s my page again...I follow back automatically and will be active in your own posts ...I have secured a coffee time/interview with VIFK’s big Cameroonian goal machine, Junior Oyono and will put this content onto this blog... ![]() In Finnish “pikku hiljaa”... meaning little by little we gonna get this dream right ![]()

Jayce01:Make up your mind and direct all your energies into one country...otherwise, you really would be stuck sort of....I had made friends on the other student thread for Finland before I left Naija...The guys were extremely helpful to me then too, because they noticed I was not just making enquiries, so they led me sort of while I did my own part then in Lag...Like I said in the beginning of this thread, I had known I would come here, and I remember studying my Finnish even while doing my shoe business between Lag and Abj...Also, try to do EVERYTHING by yourself, the internet is our goldmine in this generation, do not understimate it. |
Jayce01:Yes it is language barrier mostly....As simple as it sounds, it can make or mar your hustle in Europe especially, because not all of us are blessed with the gift to learn new languages easily...Also do not expect to meet a bustling Nigerian community like what is obtainable in those countries...You have to be prepared for some form of racism anyway |
IchBinBrait:I don dey here over a year now, so I fairly have a good grip on Finnish language, I don dey learn Swedish sef |
Mztonya:Lol wetin do my skin? ![]() |
Odkboy23:It is called “popia” and it’s from Thailand...tastes a little bit like our own meat pie and maybe sausage... ![]() |
As usual guys...here is my pet project on grassroot African footballers based in Finland...kindly follow me and I’ll automatically follow you back and be active on your own posts too!! ![]() PS: I will be live on Friday, 5th July to cover the VIFK game on this IG page where we have our Cameroonian and Sudanese brothers plying their trade...
