Pls nairalanders do not mock these young boys(soldiers) but encourage them to improve themselves within the job. I passed out of that same Depot in 1997 as 45 regular intake. Honestly I support the military action but not this release of their wives and children or at best, it is ill- timed. GEJ should forget about these so-called northern elite who can no longer come to the north for fear of these monsters but are always sympathising them indirectly. Imagine them pushing the president to grants them amnesty which the boko boys rejected. The northern elite cares only for their family,friends and associates not the children of northern Borno who cannot go to school because of boko boys or the ordinary people in the north who are constantly living under fear, both muslims and christians.

I am a muslim and northerner living in maiduguri. I honestly and totally agree with GEJ in trying to route out these barbarians killing in the name of religion. These people are tarnishing the image of islam. I wish our armed forces good luck in their fight against these armed robbers,murderers,kidnappers and terrorist in the name of religion.

I feel like crying for this young lady and those that knew her because these animals did not give her a chance to correct her mistake. I just can't imagine why/how will somebody do such a nasty and abominable act?

We have been hearing this nonsense for the past 12 years and things are nothing but worst. I thank God I am not deceived. I did not watch the speech and I am not going to read it. I want to see action not speech.
