This is a thread created to see people opinions on the reasons why Nigerian footballers don't play for the Nigeria national team just to pick European team (England most especially).
Most players with Nigerian origin prefer to play for England that's stacked with a lot of talents rather than Nigeria where they can easily be in the lineup. An instance is Tammy Abraham that chose England over Nigeria even tho he knows he has to fight for his position because England has the likes of Harry kane, Jamie Vardy, Marcus rashford, Danny ings and Callum Wilson in the same position, fikayo tomori which is a young prospect from Chelsea academy has also decided to pick England over Nigeria when his position is occupied by Harry margiure, Joe gomez, John stones, Chris Smalling, mings.
I feel this players know something we don't.
