Time for the president to be thinking of leaving and not borrowing cause he failed to deliver after 7 years plus |
Today the federal government through its agency is the sole importer of refined fuel and the same government that is operating monopolistic policy in a market that is supposed to have free entry is neck deep on subsidy removal Bola Tinubu the president elect and Peter Obi of labour party both agreed that fuel subsidy should be removed and some Nigerians are clapping hands for them I am not against fuel subsidy removal since PDP failed in their sixteen years of been in charge to fix or build new refineries and APC that took over and almost spent eight years preferred to follow PDP steps, failed as well to fix refineries and also refused to build new ones First and the realistic to thing do is to open up the sector by allowing private business owners who have the capacity and facilities to import, store and distribute the product by following lay down rules in the sector and the monitoring agencies should do their jobs creditably. Since we prefer to remain as importers of refined fuel products, no problem but allow more hands to join the importation train and that we drive the price down. How do I mean? Market forces will now determine the price of fuel. You cannot say you are deregulating which by extension is removing barriers to competition and at the same time allowing a government control agency as the sole importer, that’s wrong, you want to deregulate follow the text and spirit of pure deregulation, period. The advent of GSM, people bought ordinary Nokia Touch light phone for 50k plus then, 50k then that’s more than 300k today, but with many importers into GSM helped to change the narratives in a very short time and if this is extended to the fuel sector, I see us buying fuel for less than 100 naira per liter Nigeria is the only country we have and we should learn to do things for the greater good of all and lastly thank God for blessing my country beyond our comprehension I don’t believe or say God bless Nigeria, because he has already bless us abundantly and all we need to do is think Nigeria first |

Op pele, don’t kill your self because of Igbos and Tinubu might have heard you loud and clear Many threads comes up here daily to paint Igbos as wicked, evil and anything negative that’s okay but if Igbos are these bad why not do the needful and let them go I am not from SE but given the opportunity I will personally prefer for Igbos to have their own country than for Supreme Court to declare PO as the winner of 2023 presidential election Some Nigerians from some zones are filled with unjustified hatred for these people, remembering one video that I watched of a top politician speaking of his hate for Igbos I only shook my head and said God save Igbos Just let them be for Christ sake |
Any Candidate That Igbos Supported Always Performs Better In 1999 Igbos voted massively for a Obasanjo (Yoruba man) and he performed above average Next election they voted massively for Umaru Muss Yar Adua (Hausa man) and he was adjudged the best president since democracy became the other of the day They massively voted for GEJ (South South) and he performed above average that prices of food items came down for the first time in Nigeria changing the long held narrative that whatever goes up in Nigeria will never come down The Igbos voted massively against President Buhari (Hausa/Fulani) in 2015 and 2019 and we are all faced by the bitter realities of backward march and now the poverty capital of the world, a country over blessed by God almighty very unfortunate The above gives credence to the fact that what Igbos see today will always take others many years to see And today the Igbos are massively voting for Peter Obi and if we must avoid jumping from frying pan to fire we all just have to join the Igbos and vote massively for Peter Obi of LP And they are the most de tribalized people in Nigeria, even at some point in times they voted against their own person Ojukwu comes to mind Election is not a do or die exercise but the choice lies in our hands to help in reversing Nigeria from this negative journey to a 360 degree turn to the right path of growth, freedom and peace of mind Vote Peter Obi today for a better future A word is enough for the wise |
Mylove55:And how can they confirm that you did not vote for them? |
Whatever you guys sow that is what you guys will equally reap |
Foolish reasoning, op go get a job and make your self useful cause hate will kill you if you are not careful Supreme Court has lost its relevance How can a court of that level descend so low to say senate president is the rightful owner of the ticket of a contest he never participated in Respect is not given but it’s earned |
Enough young man move on with your life |
