Pls don't say that o,it can happen anywhere.Be it private or govt hospital.Havent u heard about nurses in private hospitals selling placentas to people just to make money,And then they lie that it has been thrown into the toilet.Few years
ago in Abuja, a new born baby was stolen while the mother was asleep.And the nurses couldn't give account of it.Its just God ,and one has to be very vigilant.

It could rarely happen in private clinics for several reasons

1. The rate of delivery is very low. it could just be one or two women at the same it. This makes this almost impossible.

2. Private Clinics use private labour rooms. In the hospital I use, its just its just One patient at a time.

3. Most private clinics are aware of unscrupulous elements hence, adequate securities are provided.

Everything you narrated above could possibly happen in a hospital but highly possible in a Public/Government owned hospital.
