Politics › Re: Meet The Simultaneous Lt-Gen. Holders In The History Of The Nigerian Army by Iceking1(m): 7:29pm On Nov 06, 2025 |
My question Is why do so many Generals go on compulsory retirement whenever a new chief of Army staff Is appointed. I have noticed that there are always a lot of Major Generals in the army. In which there are always no lieutenant Generals, except promoted to chief of army staff. Also, from my years of observations, all the selected chief of army staff are always major generals before being promoted to Lieutenant Generals, when picked as chief of army staff. What's confusing me right now and what I still can't get my head around Is why do other generals go on compulsory retirement Even when the newly chief of army staff Is being promoted to a lieutenant General, which Is superior than a major general. Because from what I have observed, the generals that always goes on compulsory retirement are always major generals, can someone please enlighten me on this? |

yewit37486: But it is not Tinubu that is physically constructing the project. Corruption runs in the average Nigerian from top to bottom, all the people involved in this construction are to blame, not just Tinubu. Easy to blame the president, but Nigerians need to take a hard look at themselves first. Interesting...hmmmmmmmm |

2cribz: I dont why una dey buy that camry .if una wan enjoy am.buy the toks. Wetinbmake owner sell am na fuel.howbcan u buy 20k fuel every 2days. Thats almost 24 litres every two days.even my own go enter almost 6 days before that 25 litres finish. You have enuf carbon inside tour wngine with exhaust leak I'm planning to buy a direct Belgium at the first chance I get, the exact same car though, I love the car. Nevertheless, I have changed all 4 injectors, all 4 coils, oxygen sensor, air filter, air flow sensor, I bought catalyst, radiator, all 4 wheels and all 4 tyre's. The tyre's that came with the car are huge, wheel 20 same goes for the tyre's, so I changed it to wheel 17 when my mechanic told me it's the cause of the consumption, but yet no difference. I have also bought fuel injector cleaner both "Liquid and tablet type" didn't noticed any difference. I normally buys 20k fuel every blessed two days interval, because I drive everyday. Nevertheless, I'm not feeling too bad as previously because I'm already used to it, and also because I'm contemplating on getting a direct Belgium and after that sell this one off. |

The police nowadays are just like every other criminal. Know this and deal with them accordingly. Absolutely, what you stated are fact that cannot be erased. You're so very right on this. ravensckar: Glad to hear that you retrieved your money.
Most officers of the Nigerian Police Force are worse than criminals and I think the corrupt system is still protecting them. Those officers who extort ed you should have been disciplined (if not dismissed). Not punishing them will give room for future corrupt action like this.
It's not like they won't repeat this action in future, they sure will. However, they will devise an ingenious way to not leave any paper trail behind.
You gan self, whenever you're dealing with the Police, always be on high alert lest you'll become their MUGU. You can't be a "gentleman" when dealing with Nigerian Police, you'll pay through your nose. You're so absolutely right on this, It seems my quietness means fear to them, I'm an introvert so I barely talk or shout. I'm always scared easily too, like always very scared. |

carzeem1: That's good to hear. The police force is improving on its image and public perception.
Also, be confident around police officer without being offensive or combative. Worst case is to take you to station whereas they have to explain to a superior why you were arrested or detained and the superior has more to lose if things turn south. They barely take you to a superior whenever take take you to their station, they're always fast to give you paper and biro and command you to write a statement. I was about writing the statement before one of them told me to settle them so I can be able to leave with my car. He called 500,000 until I pleaded for almost an hour and settled 80,000 |

Pluto33: Can you state those 5 police numbers here for benefit of others? These are the numbers I called below, I went to the X handle of the Delta state police complaint response unit, because everything happened In Delta. So these numbers are for those that has issues with the police, and In Delta state precisely. You can get the numbers of other states too, maybe if you are in Ondo state, all you need to do Is go on X and search for the key word "Ondo state police NG, complaint response unit" and you would see their page and emergency numbers to call. Nevertheless, for those in Delta state, these are the numbers that I called. 09155570008 09011112311 09064308018 09066575187 |
