I won't advise you to invest 2M in on this wallet apps

Don't ever invest on palmpay,I don't trust them

I still prefer OPAY tho,but you must be wise, fraudsters are everywhere trying to get access into your account

How about piggyvest?
Are they extremely safe?

no don't abort...

If your plan is successful after due delligence I would also wanna follow your lead.

Kindly take bus to Lagos, you can get clean hotels and safe too for 8k a night with Ac and dstv.. Then from there you can do all the findings you want at their head office..

Okay, nice idea
If I can't go to their office, maybe I should contact them via twitter or their official email address to have a one on one chat with them about everything.

You may have to visit their head office. So they guarantee you more layers of security.
A simple hack on their mobile app and they will say they are under no obligation to refund you the 2m.

So get to know what will happen when to your funds if and when their bank is compromised (hopefully not)

I'm very far from their head office, their head office is in Lagos and I'm in Delta. I really don't know how to go about this, maybe I shouldn't just abort.
Business / Is It Safe To Keep Up To N2m On Opay And Palmpay Account?? (Details inside) by Iceking1(m): 9:36am On Jun 28, 2023
I have been thinking of starting up a business lately, but while my money is wasting on my GT Bank, before starting up the business, I recently learnt that I can put the money on opay or palmpay and earn daily interest.

For opay Owealth save, I'd be getting N263 naira daily and 7,910 monthly. When I input N2m

While palmpay gives N813 daily and N24,555 montly.

I intends to go with palmpay but I'm scared, so I want to know if my money is safe.

Whats your opinion regarding this?

Note : I have upgraded both accounts to tier 3

Your expected return monthly is small, so no need to actually start a business. Instead you can just go to any bank and open a fixed deposit with that amount. You should get a minimum of 10 percent per anum which 220k yearly or 18k monthly.

Alternatively you can go for treasury bill and still get the same range of interest, minimum of 10 percent.

The benefit with treasury bill is that your interest is paid immediately you deposit the money you want to use to buy the treasury bill.

Generally, if you factor in inflation you'd see that your ROI is not able to cover the cost of inflation.

To easily understand, let's say something you can purchase today cost 2.2 million but in one year time the cost will be 2.6 million due to inflation.

But if you fix the money in fixed deposit or treasury bill you'll get additional 220k to add to your 2,200,000 bringing the total money you have in one year time to 2,400,000.... This 2,400,000 will still be lower than the cost of purchasing that item which is 2,600,000.

So you'll have lost 400k or more to inflation if you go for the safe option 10-13k monthly....

You'll have lost 200k or more to inflation if you go for the safe option of fixed deposit or treasury bill of minimum 10 percent annually.

A better option is to invest in land... Buy land and dispose of it in one year's time... You'll get at least 20 percent appreciation if you buy in a good place. You can then repeat next year. This is not without risk though, so do your research well and buy genuine land with complete papers.

Alternatively, you can invest in public transportation... Buy a bus for someone on hire purchase... Get payment of 300-500k upfront and draw up agreement of how much you'll be paid weekly... If the person defaults two times or certain number of times you agree on then you reposes your bus without refunding any amount paid down.
This is also not without risk, so do your research well to avoid losing your money

Good morning sir, please I would need more expatriation on the treasury bill, please respond please.

It depends on where you live. Look for a business in your locality that will solve a key problem/issue among the people. Service-based businesses may be safer for you since you don’t have much experience in doing business.
So, find a service-based business in your area, take some time to learn around the business, do some apprenticeship if possible.
Me I prefer businesses where I put more money in equipments/ tools than holding cash.
Or starts with a fraction of the intended capital, say 800k in your case. Don’t go all-out into any business with all your money. Start small, you can put more money later, if everything seems fine.
Remember, you can always back off from any business at anytime. No strong head for business. Follow who know road, get more practical experience from the real people doing the business. Serve them, don’t expect them to release their business secrets to u easily. Don’t go and be listening to those motivational speakers o.
Making money in this country is not easy.
Nobody de loyal to help you.
My own practical experience with doing small side hustle.
I gather money, set up a nice salon for my side here. I employed male and female stylists, based on the OT I got from one guy wey de do am for another side.
Omo, guys are not smiling ooo. I barely have anything left after paying bills and those guys were making cool cash off my head. I later pursue them sha. Took some off to learn hair cutting and I make myself fully available for sometime. I’m now a professional barber. This is a skill that I learned in my adult life when I had no choice.
I’ve got new stylists now. The cheating don reduce small and I don add few other side services join. The gain in coming-in little little now sha.

Thank you so much boss, I took my time well and I read your message 4 good times, and I will say that you're God's sent, thank you so very much. You're the BEST.

Truer words can't be said, you're so right on this, I feel deeply hurt after reading your message, I lost more than 3m in late 2021 and 2.9m in September 2022, I lost most of my money to meme coins, rug pull etc in which after that I took loan from branch and faiemoney to buy dego after a pump of 300% plus, it kept shooting green candles for several hours and I thought it would go up more, as soon as I bought it came down from 300% plus to 89% , I lost everything and owned loan for months, they were on my neck, I sold my TV and my home theater to pay, and until March this year I couldn't boost of 1000 naira on my own, I couldn't eat I was extremely depressed and hungry, but I thank God now that I'm okay again, although still trading but with sense, last month I input 500,000 into Lqty and today my money is 230,000, I was glad I didn't put 100% of my money as I did few years back, I'm wiser now.

Simple as ABC it's trading.
Either physical commodity or virtual commodity like cryptocurrency.
You can also own mobile app that can be giving you up to $200 monthly and even as high as $500 depending on amount of users, it won't cost you more than 100k to 150k to setup.
You can also setup a blog, some bloggers earn as much as $50,000 monthly, although it needs great effort for content creation. With as low as 100k too you can get started.
In case you are interested in any of the options, chat me up on 08184397113for further information

*LET THERE BE LIGHTS!*

Hello fellow nairalanders,

I am an inverter solution consultant with several years of experience in the biz.

Today, il like to talk to you about the best type of inverter battery to buy for your house or office power backup need.

With dollar exchange at an all time high, cost of inverter batteries and Indeed several other things in the market have all gone up. That's why when an investment is to be made at all, one should be able to go for the most cost effective.

There are essentially 3 types of inverter batteries in the market right now

1. Gel/AGM dry cell batteries

2. Tubular batteries

3. Lithium iron batteries

If you have the funds, the third option is the best but if you want to go for what is cost effective in terms of longevity , ruggedity and cost then Tubular battery is your best bet.

I won't advise you to go for the first option as they hardly last long , at best you can enjoy the battery for between 12 to 15 months . They can't also withstand fast charging unlike the other 2. So, if you over charge or under charge this type of battery, it might not even last upto 6 months.

Tubular batteries can withstand fast charge which is a plus if you live in an area where electricity stays for less than 5hrs daily or sun shines for only 5 hours on the average daily.

You can't charge a flat dry cell batteries within 5hrs, you will damage the battery cells in the long term. It takes about 8hrs to fully charge a flat cell battery.

If you follow professional advise, your Tubular battery can last you for about 5 years and the cost difference between it and the dry cell batteries are not much . But the lithium batteries are usually very expensive and delicate to use.

If you have bad batteries that you want to dispose for a fee, you can contact me.

If you want to swap it also for a brand new Tubular battery and pay the difference, I am at your service.

I can also get you the best inverter and solar panel types that would best serve your need.

When it comes to anything alternative energy, you can reachout to me .

Seeking professional advise in an area you are not too familiar with is a smart thing to do .

*POWER IS LIFE!*

*Note*

Generator fume is dangerous and fuel price is always changing like APC, so please give yourselves a treat, get an inverter today. It would increase your lifespan.
