Car Talk / How Can I Know Expired Tyres by ichema4u(m): 10:57pm On Aug 09, 2018
You will see four numbers by the side wall, the outside wall
The first two numbers state the week of manufacture
The last two states the year of manufacture
This above tyre was manufactured in the ninth week of 2007
And when you buy tyres new or Belgium be concerned with the last two
You add four years to the last two numbers to know if it has expired
2007+4 = 2011

Jokes Etc / Zuma's Statue by ichema4u(m): 11:15pm On Oct 25, 2017
ZUMA'S STATUE --
I love this piece. The writer is a good Bible student for my Imo
State brethren
AN ACCOUNT OF THE KING'S GRAVEN IMAGE
1. And it came to pass that a certain Governor from the East by the name Rochas the son of Okorocha who ruleth over the province of Imo, sent a messenger to the kingdom of the Southern country of Africa.
2. And he said to the messenger, in this manner shall ye speak to the king, "long live the king! thou art highly favoured in the the eyes of my Governor, even among the people of the province of Imo, therefore come this day to meat in my kingdom that though mayest be honoured"
3. And the messenger did according to the words of the Governor.
4. And it came to pass that the king of the Southern country of Africa by the name, Jacob the son of Zuma, entered into the province of Imo, even into the city of Owerrri, the dwelling place of the Governor.
5. And Rochas the son of Okorocha made a great feast and prepared a banquet before the son of Zuma that night. And he called all the noble men of the province to meat in his Palace, even in the court of the governor, they made merry.
6. The Governor hath also hired men of craft that they made a giant graven image of Jacob, the son of Zuma. And the height of the imuals two thousand measure of brass. And the garment thereof was that of the noble men of the West.
7. And he placed the graven image at the Centre of the city of Owerri. And unto Zuma, the king of the Southern country of Africa, was a title given which was higher above any other in the province of Imo. Also, the Governor nameth a street of the city after him. These was the manner with which king Zuma was honoured.
8. All these things happened on the tenth month of the sixth year that Rochas the son of Okorocha reigned as Governor over the province of Imo.
9. But it came to pass that when it was told the people that the Governor hath spent five hundred and thirty million shekels of gold and silver for the graven image of Jacob, the son of Zuma that they were wroth with anger.
10. And it grieved the labourers of the province and they took counsel among one another and saith, but how shall this thing be? Is Jacob the son of Zuma also among the righteous men?
11. Howbeit that the son of Zuma was honoured in this manner in the province of Imo? Is not he the same king that dealeth dishonorably in the manner that he spent the gold and silver from the treasury of his country? Is not he that the magistrate put a charge against for taking brib?
12. Is not it under the reigns of this king that his people persecute our brethren who dwelleth in their country and even put many to death and rendered their businesses desolate?
13. Howbeit the Governor treat us with great disdain? For we laboureth for over ninety days without wages and he said unto us "be thou of long suffering for there is no gold and silver in the treasury that I may pay thee thy wages". And yet he spent millions of shekels to honour the son of Zuma.
14. And the head of the labourers declared according to this words unto the people saying, "arise this day and gird thy loins for we shall march across the city of Owerri, even unto the gate of the Governor.
15. And they march across the city and declared according to this words unto the Governor, "thou dealeth treacherously with us in the manner thou sayeth 'there is no gold and silver in the treasury that I may pay thee thy wages'. Wherefore thou honoureth the son of Zuma with so much riches from the treasury?
16. This thing shall ye do, oh Governor: remove the graven image of Jacob the son of Zuma from the city that there might be peace in the land".
17. And the Governor replied them in this manner. "Harken unto my voice oh ye inhabitants of the land. I shall not be careful in the manner with which I answereth thee on this matter.
19. Go back to thy tents, for I, even the son of Okorocha hath repenteth not that I made a graven image of Jacob the son of Zuma. For many more of this statues shall ye see in the city of Owerri in the days ahead".
20. And the people lamented and said "woe unto us! behold, the evil spirit from devil hath entered into the Governor. And yet many saith, verily verily, the Governor is afflicted with insanity.
21. But the Governor doeth not according to the words of the labourers, for unto this day, the statue of Jacob the son of Zuma remaineth in city of Owerri.

Politics / Rivers Guber: INEC Resumes Defence, Maintains Governorship Election Was Free... by ichema4u(m): 3:47pm On Sep 21, 2015
Rivers Guber: INEC resumes defence, Maintains Governorship Election was free, fair and credible

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Monday continued its defence of the victory of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike at the Rivers State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, with further proofs that the election was peaceful, credible and conducted in line with the Electoral Act.

Presenting its case before the Justice Suleiman Ambrosa-led tribunal sitting in Abuja, INEC maintained that relevant electoral procedures were followed before the Commission arrived at the lawful declaration of Governor Wike as the winner of the election in view of the valid votes garnered by him on April 11, 2015. The commission stressed that best practices were observed in the conduct of the Rivers State Governorship Election.

At the resumed sitting on Monday, INEC presented seven witnesses who are presiding officers in polling units spread across four local government areas. The witnesses conducted elections in Bonny LGA, Tai LGA, Oyigbo LGA and Akuku Toru LGA. They were serving corps members at the time the election was conducted.

The defence witnesses were led in evidence by the counsel to INEC, Onyechi Ikpeazu(SAN ).

In her testimony, Ogechi Anyanwu, a corps member who served as Presiding Officer Ward 8 Unit 8 of Tai Local Government Area confirmed that elections were free and fair, noting that nobody snatched election materials as alleged by Rivers State APC.

The youth Corp member noted that there was no case of violence during the governorship election and that as presiding officer she never participated in electoral fraud.

She maintained that in line with training received before the election she adopted manual accreditation after the card readers malfunctioned.

Another defence witness, Jerry Nyikwagh who served as Presiding Officer for Ward 7, Unit 4 in Tai LGA explained that he reverted to manual accreditation after the failure of the card readers, but first got permission from his supervisor.

He explained that the accreditation and voting process were in line with the training they received and the Electoral Act.

Adeyemi Saheed who served as Presiding Officer at Alabrabra Polling Unit in Akuku Toru LGA described the election as peaceful, credible and free and fair with all the party agents participating.

He noted that contrary to the Rivers State APC allegation, the governorship election did not witness any case of ballot box snatching, election malpractices or fraud.

Mr Fidelis Zeribe who served as Presiding Officer at Ward 7, Unit 5 of Bonny LGA said nobody manipulated the election, stressing that accreditation and voting took place and a return was made.

The Presiding Officer for Ward 1 Unit 1 in Oyigbo Local Government Area, Ifem Charles Chidozie, a former youth corps member, said he didn't participate in electoral fraud, neither did he see soldiers partake in violent acts or electoral malpractices.

Sofiri Jumbo, a former youth corps member who served as the presiding officer for Ward 4 unit 1 in Bonny LGA testified that the election in his area of coverage was in line with the Electoral Act and election guidelines.

Another Defence witness and Presiding Officer Ward 1 Unit 1 in Oyigbo LGA, Onyejen Martins maintained that the governorship election in his area of coverage was peaceful, free, fair and credible.

He denied the allegation by the Rivers APC that INEC officials colluded with the PDP and the Army to commit election malpractices, stating that he did not even see a soldier in his polling station.

Under cross examination by Chief Akin Olujimi, SAN, counsel to Rivers State APC Governorship Candidate, all the defence witnesses insisted that voting successfully took place on the day of the governorship election and that card readers and manual accreditation were used.

They maintained that the official training they received mandated them to revert to manual accreditation in the event that the card readers failed. All seven witnesses stressed that the presiding officers had no powers to postpone election when the election process had commenced with voters lined up for accreditation.

In the meantime, Justice Suleiman Ambrosa adjourned further hearing on the matter to September 28, 2015 for the continuation of INEC’S defence.

So far, INEC has called 8 defence witnesses from five local government areas spread across the three senatorial districts of Rivers State.

Romance / Re: How A Lady I Was Supposed To Dump Skillfully Dumped Me by ichema4u(m): 9:53pm On Aug 15, 2015
unyours:
I had misunderstanding with this lady i called my girlfriend. Don't want to start telling long stories but It was all her fault - she cheated on me.

At first i felt like ending the relationship but i later decided to stay away from her for a while. She seem to have felt it so she kept calling me while i refuse to pick. She sent me an sms saying she is sorry that she has not been able to eat ever since.

She called me the next day which i picked this time around. She begged me let's meet in a fast food restaurant. I have already made up my mind for a reconcilation so i agreed and we chose 4pm. Meeting me at the fast food joint, she hugged me saying she is sorry that i should forgive her. I told her i have forgiven her. Just like the story of the prodigal son in the bible, i spoilt her with food and gift that day. After everything, i accompanied her home and later went to my house.

Not long after i have settled down at home, my phone rang...it was her. I picked with all the smiles on my face until she began to speak saying..."I won't like to hurt you in future. Please let's end this relationship. It's over." She hung up.

I called back immediately, she busied the call and kept on "busying" the call. She wouldn't pick my call. I sent sms pleading which she never replied. Then i realised i have been scammed. I couldn't sleep that night and nights that followed.

That was how the relationship ended leaving me as the loser and the one to shoulder all regrets and had-i-known.

I can only smile and share this story today because it's a thing of the past.

I regretted my action so i decided to share so my dear nairalanders don't fall victim.

bro , no worry.. one day wey her eyes go clear she go come back begging and crying for ur love.. i don experience am before..
wetin full her mind now na confusion..
her eyes go clear soon..just give her 3 years from now

To my knowledge, the 4-digit code that is supplied with new cars (often on a metal / plastic tab, is the code used to order a replacement key Keys. It is usually on a tag, which is on the key ring.

I watched with sadness how thousands of innocent people died in Nepal from that earth quake and it makes me wonder if God really finds joy in the death of people. The so called God is claimed to be alpha and omega but how come he sits dumbly and lazily and watch people they claim he worked so hard to create die like fowls Many Nigerians are deep into the belief of this dead God that they no longer use their brains when commenting on tragedies because they have all been brainwashed into believing their existence is owed to a fable God sold to them by Isrealites who are far worse in commiting crimes against humanity in terms of war and killing innocent people. A four month old baby survived the earth quake and i was surprised to see some people thanking God for her survival shocked
Thank God for killing over 5thousand people and saving a 4 months old Africans are so mentally lazy that they call an imaginary Dumb God in everything. FuCck the foolish God for watching innocents die while watching. that is if the furker called God even exist. IT SHALL NEVER BE WELL WITH GOD FOR HIS WICKEDNESS IF HE TRULY EXIST. nonsense undecided
