Folks, if you’re not watching this game on SABC, you’re missing out. I just switched to Supersport and it’s unwatchable. The pictures are horrible and the camera angles are atrocious!

The only way you’ll blame her is if you’re casual soccer fan but, technically speaking, the biggest culprit for that goal were the CBs, especially Ebi. That final pass should’ve been cut off and cleared from danger if Ebi was alert.

I beg to differ, she didn’t have a hand in any one of those goals actually. For the first goal, I will blame Ohale and Ebi. Ash was a wingback, where are the CBs behind to provide her support.

As for the second goal, I am at loss how you can possibly blame her on that one. Are you sure you watched the game?

But this is Cameroon we're playing, Ashleigh should start from bench if the coach is not playing 3 at the back.

Read my response to DaveP. Using our last two games to judge our players would be very wrong because Cameroon is a much stronger opponent than either Botswana or Burundi. To see how these players will perform against Cameroon, look at how they performed against South Africa. That’s a better yardstick.

Ashleigh is technically better than both Ohale and Ebi. She’s defensively stronger and reads the game better. She didn’t even play in her favorite position against South Africa but was still able to cage their best and most dangerous player.

She's the quickest Center Back there and her Long balls from the back is pretty good now, again she's a very physical defender who will be able to handle any physical threat that will be brought by the Cameroonian.. Abam look like their no.1 at top9 she will definitely have it tough against Ohale or Ebi...

This game is coming with pace and power...

Christy Ucheibe and Halimatu Ayinde must start... Chikwelu would have been no.1 for this game because of how strong she is but the problem is the pace is no longer there for her to compete with them...

One major issue facing Waldrum on Thursday is what to do with Ashleigh Plumptre.

1. Drop either of Onome Ebi or Osinachi Ohale for her

2. Play 3 center back of Ohale, Ebi and Plumptre

3. Play Plumptre as left back and drop impressive Toni Payne or push her forward

4. Pushing Payne forward means Ordega is dropped (which I doubt) or Ajibade goes to the midfield

5. Ajibade to the midfield means one of Okobi, Rita (shouldn't be starting again),

This is a major decision which will influence a lot of changes and will be key against a fast, and physical Cameroon come Thursday.
