Especially with the current economic situation.

Yemike: I need people with experience on how to manage SS Crisis. Both my parent are AS and we the kids are 5. I'm the first child and I'm lucky to be AA, the 2nd born AS, 3rd, 4th, 5th - SS. I have 3 SS siblings and right now most of their responsibility and wellbeing is on me as the first born cuz my P-man is old already. Just last week I have to rush down to my brother's school to bring him home cuz he called me in the middle of the night weeping cuz the pain is just too much and his roommate isn't around. My question now is how can it be managed? cuz it's really affecting everybody cuz It's affecting their studies, I'm exhausted right now cuz anytime it happens it's ends with me borrowing funds to send to them and lastly it's sucks happiness out of the atmosphere as hearing a teenager weeping and knowing you can't do anything about it is saddening.
I've seen some people asking if they as AS can also marry AS please and please don't try it as you'll just be bringing innocent kids here just to suffer. The trauma of you seeing your kids in pain sef no be here.
How can SS Crisis be avoided/managed?
I'd have loved my write up to be well detailed but the little I wrote up there took up to an hour cuz my phone is bad.
You experience and advice will be well appreciated. Thanks. Financial drain, keep on with treatment. My observation though |

Romance › Re: Get Married Before You Start Talking About Maturity And Responsibility by id4sho(m): 7:18am On Nov 30, 2023 |
Hideki: Some of you might disagree with this article but it is what it is. Sending periodic allowances to your folks for upkeep does not make you fully matured and responsible as a man or woman especially when you have attained a marriageable age.
Let me give you an analogy: if Mr A pays 10% monthly to an anonymous charity club and Mr B doesn't. Does this periodic payment make Mr A more responsible than Mr B? Some people's parents do not need a stipend or an allowance to stay afloat.
Working in a corporate organization and motivating your team gives you a sense of leadership but doesn't make you matured and responsible ( ask those bosses that sleeps and threatens their subordinates). Leading your team to achieve set KPIs and targets doesn't always involve close emotions.
Coordinating your family as a man or a woman is what maturity and responsibility is all about. When you are fully responsible for another; financially, morally and emotionally that is when you can say you are responsible. I thought Patience was one of my virtues until I attended PTA and getting my kids to do their home became another full-time job
Maturity test is not just about being tolerant. When I was single, maturity was about "tolerance" and using the appropriate language even when you take offence and also keeping your cool all the time. I could remember when my dad was prepared for a major surgery, I presented my group's performance at a QPR session. At the end of the day I called and surgery was a success. When my son had malaria and was admitted, I couldn't think straight for 10mins at the office. Maturity was no where to be found.
Truth be told, getting married and having kids will reset your brain. I was a no nonsense person before marriage and I will not hesitate to dish out a query or escalate an erring subordinate but in the last 5years I have not queried anyone because the case I settle on a daily basis between my daughter and son is energy sapping.
Please get married and have kids before you talk about maturity and responsibility biko. Gibberish,You mean all unmarried are irresponsible Your brain need to be checked. Dem Pope, Reverend, Priest, Paul |

jaxxy: do u know female animals give birth? Its only humans thst complain about it and then try to complicate and glamorise it.
it is totally natural, there are women who do surrogacy for money. 18 year old girl don't make a these issues when they give birth..
I think complication are more likely when women give birth at older ages or go to quack doctors. Forget them, emotional black mail. It's better to be blunt about it |

JimD: Giving birth is a joy of a woman, whether she does it naturally or through CS. She's not doing it for you. Although you must appreciate the sacrifice of carrying a baby for 9 months and delivering. But the joy of it is she's called mummy ****. Your family, her friends, you congratulate her and respect her more. It's an accomplishment every sane woman wants and longs for. It's not a personal sacrifice to you. Your topic is off-context. Rich4god: Am lending my voice to this thread https://www.nairaland.com/7922406/wife-why-life-women-complicated#127165126
A couple of days back, my wife put to bed using CS. Initially we had a baby before, I a know how complicated and painful the pregnancy and childbirth was.
Now I was in the theatre during the CS and I saw first hand how someone's abdomen was sliced open and the baby pulled out. I also saw how doctors were putting their hands into someone's abdomen and how they finally stitched her up. It wasn't an easy sight to behold. Right now, she's recovering, but the pain she's passing through is much.
To me, this is the highest form of sacrifice that someone can give for the family.
So to the men and husband out there..... before you ask your wife to be "what she is bringing to table", kindly think about the sacrifice they make in bringing your children to the world. Rest Abeg, emotional black mail |
