I'm a yr 1 lions in unn but no protest oooh....i've paid mine skul fee sha,that 12k is not much na for quality education

@odunnu d result will make d entry requirement because is eng,maths with any three of geo,phy,chem,eco,bio,f/maths. So far as unn is concern;but d real problem is passing d unn almighty post-ume exam is a nut to crack when it comes to that because a lot of candidate always fumbled,i'm a yr 1 statistics student admitted on merit in unn.to choose nsukka u i've to work xtra hard oooh.

Is it d job dat u're looking 4 or fulfillment in life.well,as a statistician u can work anywhere i mean any firm i.e banks,cbn,national bureau of statistics,business firm,audit committe,any organisations. Am also yr 1 student of statistics in UNN....pls study well u will suceed.

Friends pls thank god 4 me. In may dis yr i wrote oau pume i scored 122 opted 4 mathematics although i chose them as second choice. then, i almöst commited suicide with myself due 2 d stigma oau guys did 2 me wen i checked d result n family member, but thank god 4 the University Of Nigeria,Nsukka who gave me admission on MERIT into dept. Of Statistics.out of we hundreds dat wrote d unn almighty pume just 3 of us were admitted on merit. and this same yr i'm resuming my 100level sept. 27th, 2012 .My fellow prospective pls let believe in our god he is still alive n if u check n ur name is on d list pls dont arm urself because there is a reason best known by god.... UNN a.k.a lions den here i cum ROOOAAR....

Anyöne dat knows statistics dept. cut-off mark should pls post it here@faculty of sciences.because i need it badly i've posted d ones i knew.

Cut-off is in d skul now pharmacy cuts 264,medicine 280.nursing 245.5,radiography 254.microbiology 233,law 230,econs 243,management 228,account 233,comp. Sci 213 and so on.

Pls i will lyk to know d list of bodies/organizations where a bsc(hons)statistics can find a job.

Is a lie most uni does'nt need chemistry 4 it because chem has nothing to do wit comp sci.(i.e uniben,unn and so on)

Mr. Man take dat 100% perfect advice d same thing apply's to me i finish in 2009 and got admitted in but '09 n '10, o'level fell through for me.but i fasted and prayed hard to my god 4 d spirit of stagnancy.i sit back in '11 to make my waec gce with b2 n b3 in mth n eng respectively then i wrote ume n pume dis yr and finally waiting 4 my merit list.i want u to note that a man's destiny can never be change but delayed.(reality).......!!

@toboy and fabulous i have checked my result i scored in pume:180 n jamb:206 averg:193(48.25) and the previous yrs cut 186.76(46.67).I applied for STATISTICAL SCIENCE.because i know that so many scored high in jamb but cannot defend it in the pume. Tank god for pume!

admitme: At most 70. If you want to read STATISTIC IN UNN, you must be prepared for the stress.

stress as in shed more light on it pls;because some are saying since the creation of that department nobody as came out with 1st class result.asap!
