PoliticsRe: Northerners Are Not Controlling Nigeria's Oil Blocks by IdeaIsNeed: 8:10am On Mar 09, 2013
Deep Sight: Interesting article, but I was rather dissapointed after reading it, because no where in the article does the writer address or prove the title - "The North does not control Nigeria's Oil Blocks." Unless such parts are missing in the excerpts above?

The article is a response to Senator Ita Enang's claim at the National Assembly that 83% of indigenously owned oil blocks in Nigeria are owned by Northerners. If Akinnosho wants to disprove that, all he needs to do is show us the figures, period. Nothing in that article up there disproves anything at all.

While the authour dwells on issues like which field is producing and which is not, he completely fails to address the core claim made by Senator Enang.
Agree 100% the article is smoke and mirrors....

CultureRe: What Are The Things You Like About Other Ethnic Groups And Tribes? by IdeaIsNeed: 1:02pm On Jan 10, 2013
I love bout the igbo people their proverbs!! For example - the goat that is everybody's responsibility will starve to death, the fly that has nobody to caution it will follow the corpse into the grave, hwne the agama lizard drops from the top of a house to the ground and nobody to congratulate it , it congratulates itself ( nodding). BEAUTIFUL and needs no explanation unlike some others that may require much pondering and examining (my people wink ) these beautifully crafted sayings are representative of the igno people that i have encountered and lov, NOT some of those who appear to have some almighty chip on the shoulder. Igbo kwenu! I salute you for your proverbs ,

FoodMoms, Share Your Weekly Meal Plans Here by IdeaIsNeed(op): 10:04am On Dec 23, 2012
At my house we have beans porridge, dodo, rice and stew with spinach, rice and stew with sweet corn, rice and beans, rice and curry sauce , eba with okra, rice with okra, rotated throughout the week for lunch and/or dinner. All of the above meals are accompanied by either chicken, fish or lamb, am not a beef fan. No set pattern, i am led by the Spirit. Breakfast is usually bread or eggs. What does your family eat on a weekly basis?
