PoliticsRe: Nigerians In Canada To Take Action Against Amaka Sunnberger by idealogical: 10:04pm On Aug 28, 2024
Peter Obi brought the worst out of Nigerians especially his own Igbo people.

He's not even making things better with his own similar mad and nauseating utterances in videos where he repeated the same insane claims that Igbo are superior to the rest of Nigeria and Igbo people are better Nigerians because they developed the major States outside the SE.

Election loss is really not their main problem with Nigeria and Yoruba people in general, they loss is just enough excuse for them to express their hatred, bitterness and their destructive nature.

The Ohaneze leader RIP voiced the same anti Yoruba rubbish openly when he insulted and ridiculed Yuruba people and their leaders, according to him, Yoruba people are rascals and he will handle them.

This woman's actions is just an extension of the anti Yuruba rants we read everyday and sadly, Igbo leaders are as usual super silent and not saying anything including the usual suspects like Obi and Oby. If it was the other way around, they won't let us rest.

We always put these incompetent people in charge and they always fail, but they are always all of a sudden knowledgeable, also know everything and how to deal with the economy.

This woman made no effort to2 transform our economy, she released funds purposely to looters be looted.

In the same 2014 she's talking about, she declared austerity measures even though she was in charge when oil sold for over 100 dollars and under okonjo, Nigeria earned more money from oil than any administration in the history of Nigeria, but she borrowed hundreds of billions every month to pay salaries till her last day in office.

Under this woman and Jonathan with all the oil money they made, they did not transform the economy, no roads, not bridges, no powerplants, no hospitals, no refineries, nothing, just looting and stealing.

The economy was so good when you were in charge, but you were broke, you declared austerity measures and borrowed hundreds of billions every month to pay salaries until handover day to Buhari who saved Nigeria and states from implosion by giving out salary bail out funds.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria, A Collateral Damage, Says Burna Boy by idealogical: 5:44am On Aug 25, 2024
The collateral damaged country gave immense wealth, fame, fortune and global acceptance and recognition, but you still want us to believe that the same country is a collateral damaged country and shouldn't exist.

I don't know why it's always hard for these over bloated ego and ungrateful people to use their platform to inspire, help and promote a better Nigeria.

There are countries facing all manner of hardships and social problems, but you don't see their citizens both successful and poor abuse, trash, denigrate and rubbish their country.

It's really sad.

Victim mentality. You just had to make it about your people. So you mean your people who are 2by2 shop traders pay more taxes than oil companies, dangote, telecom cots, etc.

It is impossible stealing another man's land in this day and age of information technology. Land grabbing existed in the days of our forefathers. Yours were asleep then.

Go and build your own Lagos elsewhere and stop trying to steal this one that already has an owner.

This is what heavy taxes being imposed on non-Lagosians in Lagos, especially the business-minded and hard working Easterners, is giving Lagos. Look at the big structures being erected with people's sweat.

And tomorrow they'll come and say non-Lagosians should go? Not possible! non-Lagosians will seat and work in that building and become the Local government Chairman.

All ekiti state task force knows about is collecting double taxation from businesses in Ekiti.

Ekiti state is now playing with the big boys, they are generating massive FDI (foreign direct investment), and they are even competing with Lagos and FCT.

N573b fund: Presidency replies governors
The Presidency cleared the air yesterday on the controversy over the N573 billion received by states.

It said the fund is a World Bank loan, which the Federal Government guaranteed, and not a grant.

It explained that the issue of whether it was a grant or a loan should not be at the centre of discussion but rather how the money can assist in the country’s development.
The clarification was made through a Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Temitope Ajayi.
He said: “I think the issue is not whether it is a loan or grant.
“The point, as clearly stated in the President’s broadcast, is that the states got money.

“The amount, which is the second tranche under the COVID-19 livelihoods support scheme under the NG-CARES Programme funded by the World Bank, is N570 billion.
“The fact is states are getting needed support and funding to improve the lives of the people.
“The World Bank facility is guaranteed by the Federal Government because every multilateral loan must have a sovereign guarantee.
“This means the loan will be repaid by the Federal Government in case the sub-nationals are unable to.
“There should be no hue and cry by any governor really if the objective is to serve the people and make life better for the masses.
“The President is elected to make life better for citizens the same way the governors are elected to do the same in their respective states.
“President Tinubu will continue to work to expand the economy and enable shared prosperity for all Nigerians.
“He considers the governors as partners in progress and the job of nation-building.
“What can’t be denied is that the states have more resources to deliver better service to the people, especially in critical areas of education, healthcare, security and physical infrastructure like roads among others.”
Ajayi described the issue as more than just semantics, explaining that the payment was the second tranche, with the first paid in October or November last year.

Exactly.

This is the problem with the worthless governors in Nigeria, they think they are emperors and uncountable public officials.

What difference does it make where the money came from? The FG gave you money to take care of your people, but they are playing games and semantics. Does it mean you won't spend the money on your people as directed just because it's a World Bank loan?

The state governors are the most crooked, corrupt, and weakest link in Nigeria, they collect IGR, allocations every month, and loans left and right to take care of their people, but still, nothing to show.

Unfortunately, the average Nigerian citizens are so clueless, that they think the FG is responsible for everything in their lives when in fact it's the responsibility of the governors, they collect funds every month to take care of their people.

And when they do their silly protests, they go to the FG as if the FG is collecting and spending their state allocations.

Denying the president a second term won't again the north anything, it's counter productive and I don't see the the SW/Northern alliance diminishing anytime soon.

The smartest politicians in Nigeria are in the SW and the north and they need each other to confine power to the SW/North .

Seefinish:
The easiest way to depopulate the almighty Lagos and leave Lagos for Yorubas, is when we the easterners can import things through Eastern ports.
And why are easterners not importing through eastern ports?

Because it's not cost effective, their market is Lagos and the SW, there's a reason why majority of them operate from Lagos and the SW so it makes zero business sense to ship your goods and services far away and many states away from your major markets then turn around to ship it with extra cost back Lagos/SW where you operate from.

They are business people and they are in business to make money, not to swim in tribal or regional sentiments, their best option is to ship closer to where they sell .

Igbo's contribute a lot in Lagos and it fair to carry them along.
There are people from other ethnic tribes in Nigeria and so far, they are not yelling or foa,ing at the mouth over this announcment in Yoruba so why is alays igbo people shouting and creating acrimony and drama?

When they pass laws to benefit the whole of Lagos state, igbo people shout and yell that is against igbo people, when they demolish illegal buildings, you cry endlessly that it's because the owners are igbo.

Why?

You obviously don't know the meaning of inclusivity. Every cosmopolitan city world over are opening up their space, while one of the the most unlivable cities in the world is shrinking itself further into a backwards tribal cave.
Inclusiveness doesn't mean countries with inclusive programs and policies must discard their indigenous languages, ways, heritage and culture.

You are completely misguided and off base with your flawed interpretation of inclusiveness.
