In all of this, nothing about Ijaw was mentioned in the history of Bonny. Only four names were strongly associated with Bonny history and they are Igbo, Ubani/Ebane, Ndoki and Okoloma. This same Okoloma that is said to be the name of Bonny is still found today in Ndokiland (Obigbo LGA).
Even the British traders during the last king Pepple's time knew the level of power the Ndokis wield in Bonny. No mention is made of any Ijos in the whole history written about Bonny. It was Alagoa that came up with his fabrications to alter the true history of the people.
