They are not igbos, its clearly stated on Wikipedia, they are from kolokuma/opokuma in Bayelsa stare, I know you feel the need to project your tribe as being superior but please learn to draw the line, thanks.
Also, Wikipedia is not a credible source for history account. The white explorers wrote many books. Now, it's your job to read them to have foot in this discussion

You are getting schooled by a guy who obviously knows more than you but because your mission here was never to learn but to rejoice with Reno and clap for the quack history he is feeding Igbophobes like you , you have not been able to listen.

If you knew the complete history of Bonny and and Opobo and their ethnic make up you wouldn't be here arguing like someone who is hard to hearing.

Ijaw never raised Igbo land because the Abam and Ohafia were already involved and the slave traders were Aro and Bonny chiefs who were Igbo. At this point ,Ijaw were mostly laborers and lived in the creeks on canoe and didn't even have a land. You should read how the white slave traders described the Ijaw/Jow men.

Stop getting involved in topics you know nothing about. Just because you heard Igbo are being insulted you crawled out like a filthy reptile to cheer...BLACK MAN LIKE YOU ARE THE REASON WE ARE CALLED MONKEYS BY THE WHITE BECAUSE YOU ARE WORTH..LESS

I don't think Reno said anything about translating the bible though. ..what he said 👇

Bishop Crowther brought Christianity to Onitsha in 1855 and opened the way for that religion to enter Igbo land. Before him, that entire area had not experienced the light of the Gospel. Bishop Crowther thereafter documented his missionary works in Igboland in a book published in 1855 titled 'Journal of an Expedition up the Niger and Tshadda Rivers.'

He also wrote the first ever book in the Igbo language, titled 'Isoama-Ibo: A Primer', published in 1857. Bishop Crowther then wrote the second book about the Igbo language titled 'Vocabulary of the Ibo Language', published in 1882.
Since I don't speak Chinese, how could I possibly translate Igbo to Chinese. I probably would need the expertise of a Chinese who understands both Igbo and Chinese languages. Then afterwards, I will put my name there.....case closed

Simon Jonas was the one who translated the bible to Igbo not Ajayi because Ajayi couldn't understand a word in Igbo language. He is just the head on CMS mission

I tell you.

Yoruba taught them how to read and write and introduced Christianity to them.

Yorubas allowed them to thrive in the city of Lagos

Yorubas returned their abandoned properties after the civil war while rivers people took over them

WHAT HAS YORUBAS BENEFITED FROM IGBO PEOPLE?
Keep quiet with this nonsense about you teaching anyone anything.

By the way , how did you learn how to read? Dis you invent school ? Did you invent any alphabet? Did you invent books ? You are bragging about a man whom you people sold into slavery who the slave masters educated and sent out to convert his fellow ignorant black Africans.

Shouldn't you be ashamed a man you sold into slavery was the one who brought education to you.

What goals did he achieve ?
He has been called up for debates but he avoided it and acted like he didn't see the invite. If you have common sense and not an ethnic bigot you would actually feel pity for Reno. There are over 45 million Igbo in this planet earth....we are just watching the show...lmao

You shouldn't be ashamed for anyone who you dont have reason to be ashamed of. There are things about yourself you should worry more about. The whole goal is to keep demonizing and demarket Ndigbo by picking comments by very few Igbo then use it to incite the Hausa and Yoruba against Ndigbo. Basically promoting ethnic hate.

Nobody will say their mama soup no dey sweet.

Anyways, you are wrong to say Egwusi does not grow in the east....very wrong oga.

As per egwusi which everyone knows Nigeria for with ugu leaves....that's the classic Igbo egwusi sold by Anambra women who run restaurants across Nigeria. Yoruba don't cook egwusi the same way and most restaurants are owned by Igbo women of mostly Anambra extraction.

I keep saying aribo is better as a forward or ay least in a three man midfield as an advanced player. Aribo no go do as a central midfielder.
Idenna don't u think European football is overrated and sometimes confused our coaches.
As per iwobi I are wrong he can create play but he cannot do it alone and is overworked.
Raphael onyedica of club brugfe is better than Frank onyeja but onyeja plays in a better league and people won't see it
We need a good coach
Brother, Iwobi doesn't have that skill set and stamina to man the CM and hold it together. It will never happen simply because you can't give what you dont have.

As for Aribo, for me , he belongs to the bench because I really dont know where to place him. He is neither a winger, CM , nor DM. In all these positions we have superior talents. And to be brutally honest Aribo is not a SE quality. You cant push him forward when we have players like Nacho, Chukwueze, Moffi, Boniface, Moses. I hope Nwakali can get a look in otherwise if we go to AFCON with Iwobi and Aribo as our only creative players then we will meet failure!

Aribo is not similar to Mikel please and you can't play him as a CM. He likes attacking the box with his late runs. In a midfield of Ndidi-Aribo-Iwobi, Aribo will be the most advanced of the trio with Iwobi rather sitting deep.
If you guys like continue playing Aribo-Iwobi combo and you will keep getting failure. I have watched Iwobi and Aribo and none of them can create play....just back pass and side way passes.

If Nwakali is fit then he must occupy the CM role if no other fitter player is available who could create play.

Nigeria will continue to suffer heartbreak if they continue to start Iwobi and Aribo....PERIOD!

You are not objective. Everyone will not like Obi's performance but I can assure you that majority of Anambrarians feel the impact of his government. The naysayers are in minority. Statistics and bank records don't lie. Obi left huge amounts in the coffers, a first in Nigeria. He achieved great feats in infrastructural development, road construction, education facilities, etc. But I don't expect you to agree with me as I can decipher you have made up your mind. Your opinion doesn't matter and will not change the truth anyway. Those threads you referred to are sponsored to feed the appetite of its consumers. However the stories are twisted to make Obi look bad and the creators know there are candidates who are just out to hear anything negative about Obi like your good self. We pray for good leadership and for our hateful compatriots to have a change of heart so we can bring real statesmen on board to help midwife the Nigeria of our dreams.
You have written quite excellently. Leave the bigot to his mess

Na so all of them be bro, be careful with any Anambra man. ha bu ndi obi-ojor, ekworo and backstabbers.
Nobody is backstabbing you. Stop the defamation. You need to understand that Anambra people are very successful and proud. This is not a rocket science. The state possesses some of the brightest Nigerians and captains of industries ....from Peter Obi, Soludo, Kingsley Muoghalu Osita Chidoka , Oby Ezekwesili, Chimamanda Adichie, etc. Anambra people have a very high human capital unmatched by any state in Nigeria. Anambra has also been blessed with a great leader in Peter Obi who turned the state into a success story....so naturally the people would be proud of their state.

The problem is that some of you feel intimidated when Ndi Anambra tries to celebrate their state which everyone does....you want them to label their achievements the Igbo achievements due to your insecurity but Ndigbo are not under one government. We are divided by states. You people need to stop this behavior because the problem is from you not Ndi Anambra.

The man is being held to his own promised standards. That's all.
He promised heaven; he must deliver heaven, or he failed. Simple.
That is why Peter Obi remains the best. He does not promise what he can't or won't do.
Peter Obi speaks softly and promises achievable results. He underpromises and overdelivers.
Soludo overpromises and underdelivers. He appears to be a megalomaniac who promises much but delivers little.
That is the problem.

Plus that APC eying Anambra factor ...
Writing off people like Senators Ifeanyi Uba and Ekwunife, is a huge political mistake.
Ekwunife and Ubah doesn't have a statewide followership and appeal. Governorship is different from Senator

onumadu:
I did a little research about this Uba/Ekwunife factor, and from what I found out, Soludo should be worried.
I'm beginning to understand why Uba in particular chose to go back to APC.
Most of Anambra voted for Soludo because of his messianic promises to turn Anambra into Taiwan and Dubai ETC.
But he hasn't really even scratched the surface of that promise, and time is running out.
Now some people are already calling him the Nutty Taxing Professor. lol
APC is not popular in Anambra state, but Anambra people are not enslaved to any political party.
They may decide to hold their noses and vote for the Uba/Ekwunife ticket, assuming that the PDP does not field a dark horse.
APC needs Anambra state desperately. And with this man in Aso rock, anything can happen.
Dont worry about Ubah and Ekwunife ticket. Anambra nobi akara case...you cant rig election in the state. It's near impossible and I don't think Ubah and Ekwunife will entertain such thoughts anyways.

As for Soludo being worried. Well, if you have not noticed , Osita Chidoka is easily the most qualified and favourite to take over after Soludo..

As for Ekwunife, the governor post is above her punching weight. Anambra politics is very dynamic. Even Peter Obi has not been able to influence governorship and senatorial elections yet he is the most loved Anambra man alive. Anambra people are not easily convinced. They might like you but still disagree with you sometimes.

Interesting. I just don't get it after comparing the profiles of both of them. Soludo seems to have track record of getting to the peak of his career pursuit.
Soludo is over 10yrs older than Ike Obosi. By the way , to compare them we must look at the government agency they have headed. They are both technocrats and exemplary in their fields but I personally feel Ike Obosi is more of a well groomed administrator in the mold of Peter Obi.
