Sowore Joins Free Palestine Protest In New York, Says Nigerians Stand With Palestinians
Human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has joined a Free Palestine protest in New York, where he spoke out over the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

They see how freely Makinde Is campaigning against Tinubu today and no one is insulting him or attacking him.
They see how Sowore and Rufai move around with no Yorubas insulting or attacking them.
But you can't learn from that.
You people have turned igboland into North Korea.
Where no one is permitted to think differently.
Where no one is permitted to have an opinion.
You can see the results today.
Constant destruction and keelings.
Today igboland is the lowest in terms of revenue generation.
We don't learn good things only bad cultures.
Time has come for our elders to wake up and address these new trends .

SportblitsNews: Super Falcons head coach Justin Madugu has explained Esther Okoronkwo’s decision to shoot instead of passing to Asisat Oshoala during Nigeria’s 1-0 quarter-final defeat to Cameroon at the 2026 WAFCON.
Okoronkwo had an opportunity to equalise late in the game after breaking into a dangerous position, with Oshoala available in a better position. However, the forward opted to take the shot herself.
Madugu played down suggestions of tension between the two players, explaining that Okoronkwo believed she could score from the position and simply made a decision in the moment. He stressed that such situations are part of football and should not be interpreted as a disagreement between teammates.
There is no tension between the players. The idea of not sorting out an unmarked teammate among most African teams and Nigeria in particular is a tradition.
