An average yoruba oozes sophistication, class and intelligence.
They are some of the few people that still makes Nigeria a little bit marketable to the outside world.
From education to art to politics, just give it up to them, they are blessed. Most Nigerians are daftly funny. With above elaborative qualities, yet the Yoruba are wholesomely terrified to stand alone. |

Politics › Re: Alvan Ikoku: Panel Indicts Okorocha Over Forceful Acquisition Of Land by Idiko1: 2:34am On Aug 17, 2023 |
Abagworo: The question should be if actually he shared it to his cronies or some of his friends invested in it albeit very few. It was on open sale at very high price and bought by whoever could afford it with the money paid to State Government as revenue. The question is "will Uzodinma refund the investors?". What government sells any land for that matter? Whether it was open or close sale, it was an indication of fraudulent activity by Okoroawusa's regime. |

timay1: Hmmm.
This same Salma was part of that last year U20 world cup that Spain won oo. Immediately after the tournament, Spain did not waste time to integrate like 6 of those players from that tourney into their senior team, despite being spoilt for choice and the intense competition already in the team.
She showed her talent and made it into the senior team straight, scoring 8 goals in 13 matches for Spain so far, since her debut. There are countries and zoos. |

Who else saw the recent comments by two of the greatest EPL coaches in the last 3weeks about young talents?
SAF and Le Prof!!!
Give them that chance, they'll be ever grateful for it as their minds work totally different from the senior ones. They want to keep proving and rewarding those that give them a chance even if they still have a long way to go.
I guess some folks will be scared if one day, the average real age of npfl players in the league is like 24.5yrs.
Till then.
What many are not noticing is we will see it working with even those that are not as talented, and now be among the last to implement with our tails between our legs. Pure Nigerian backwater mentality. |

codemaniacs: Salma Paralluelo is 18 years old and she has scored important goals that helped Spain qualify for the Final yet 99% of people on this thread and even the coaches of the Super Falcons look down on teenage wonder teens and young stars that could have been in the Super Falcons squad.
Gift Monday that was the youngest among the Forward players was not given enough game time... The women football has been killed and this jack called Randy will bury it in Nigeria. Nigeria has good athletic young players, yet the goon of a coach went to the world cup with washed up woods. |

Deltamani: The Midfield Maestro Who Caged Lauren James Meet Halimatu Ibrahim Ayinde🇳🇬
"Give a single assignment to the Midfield Maestro, Halimatu Ayinde - Cage the Lionesses' star forward Lauren James,"
Defensive midfielder, Halimatu Ayinde who also plays for FC Rosengård did a spectacular job of resisting anticipated firepower from Lauren James who was expected to be the huge creative force for the Lionesses. Ayinde ensured James was kept in her pocket throughout the game, with no breathing space until she saw red.
In an outburst of frustration for being kept quiet and marked out throughout the game, the Lioness switched position to get some breathing space from Ayinde but equally met an ever ready Alozie who was on hand to serve the same breakfast.James then maliciously stood on Alozie (in protest) and was deservedly punished by the VAR.
Ayinde successfully executed her project of caging James’ creative edge and whatever mean/aggressive act by the latter can be traced to our Midfield Marshall who has largely been underrated in this tournament.
She showed us all pure class and will do well with taking man-marking masterclasses. I sincerely hope the younger ones are learning from her.
Nigeria celebrates you Halimatu Ibrahim Ayinde. Are you a football agent? Which match did you watch? If Ucheibe was somehow unable to play, England would have defeated Nigeria soundly. |

BascoVanVeli: Randy made the English coach look like a youtuber for 90 minutes but he lost his ways during extra time. To keep it real and I know some won't like this comment but he made bias decisions at the end. He didn't just want to win, he wanted to win with "HIS" players. We have to remember the NFF blamed the players he brought in for the WAFCON loss and this would have been a perfect I told u so. I can't get mad at him because he is only human. The work he did with setpieces alone will always make him ok in my book. What crap is the bolded? A coach with so-called world class players could not defeat a team with 10 ladies for more than 30 minutes of play yet you identified him as a coach. Jamaica or even Morocco could have defeated England in such situation. The fact remains Nigeria went to the world cup with sleepy spectators instead of players. The only light on Nigerian side is Plumptre maybe honorable mention of Ohale, Nnadozie, Ucheibe and Kanu is pardonable. |

BascoVanVeli: Alozie should have never been put up front. She was clearly our worst player when the change was made. She could barely hold on to the ball. When u consider Gift Monday's performance against ireland and the fact she scored a penalty in the last Nations cup, I can't understand not bringing her in that game. Most Nigerians are funny indeed. I am not surprised the airwaves are filled with "Alozie should not have put up front" or even back. The bottom line is poor management especially having an agent as a coach. It should not be Alozie this or that but poor coaching session. The Falcon team was a glorified junk. I am very surprised the team scaled through group stage. |

BascoVanVeli: We should want a fair playing field. What u are saying is the equivalent of blaming a r@pe on a woman's dress choice. I don't care if we missed 5000 chances, call the game fair and down the middle. We are not asking for hand outs. The inferior mentality worn by Africans cannot allow them to raise such legitimate issue at FIFA. Instead, Africans will hail the meaningless taking of idiotic knee. |
