It is not about sweat or no sweat. I am not happy with the outcome you have suffered. I have severally asked him to refund you in good faith. But it is not about what we wish, the law is very clear, if payment is made for a contract and the contract is not performed, then there is a breach of contract. Breach of contract lawyers are taught in law school is a civil wrong and not a criminal wrong.

If you allege crime, you need to proof that his action was criminal and his intention was criminal, you need to specify which aspect of criminal law he breached. if you cannot prove all three your case will fail. It is far easier to prove breach of contract and claim damages.

I am sure you have a lawyer, run the above by him.

You have a lesser hurdle to pass to prove that you suffered a breach of contract than to prove that he intended to and actually committed a crime against you.

In any case if you go the criminal route, rarely will restitution be ordered, it is between the state and him and if you were to win, criminal penalties await. With a civil case, restitution will be ordered.

Is it not restitution that you want?

If you give me N1,000 job, I’d put the same energy I’d put in N10,000,000 job into it.

My contractors overhead and profit on the project is less than N750,000. That’s less than N1,500 per day if I spent 60 days on the project.
Do you think it’s the money that drove me in?

Yet I have 2 generators, welding machines, block making machine, mixers, pumping machine, compactor and other tools of trade to be used on the project.

I’m passion driven and not what most people think.

In one of the bill passed across to me, I saw a contractor charging 50,000 for generator rentage. That’s like 12.5% of my overhead and profit combined.

You don’t get it do you? Do you think that all the contractors here don’t always have issues? Some of them handle it in a mature way… this is what you lack, you always waiting for your issue to get blown overboard before you start reacting… this was supposed to be a small issue between you and the client. But you refused to handle it well…

Since the matter is here all we want to know is when are you refunding? And probably you have a payment plan… commit to this and do it bro

Working on 3 new project so you don't want them to think it's their money? All these are just mere excuses.

You personally are worth alot of millions if I'm not mistaken. You have alot of dump trucks, machines and other stuff. If you spend 5million today, why will a client think its his money? You are capable of even obtaining a loan to clear this mess to protect your name. A name is really important.

It's been at least 3 months after termination of contract. Full refund should have been issued for jobs not done.

The money was meant to execute the project, it's obvious the funds were channeled into something different from what it was paid for (otherwise the money for the unexecuted part of the project should still be available).

That alone is sufficient to establish dishonesty and fraudulent intent.

I would say I was one of those that felt people that came here trying to dig out his past were just trying to bully him into silence. But it's obvious I was wrong.

please I want experts in the house to help me with some clarity

I have an interlocked compound that isn't up to 2years but it gets messy during raining season and changes colour completely. I want to do a stamped concrete or even ordinary concrete flooring.
Is it wise to do my concrete flooring on the interlock or to remove the interlock completely. I was thinking leaving the interlock might give flooring some added strength but I am worried it might crack if there is no proper adhesion between both the interlock and the new concrete mix.

To be honest I don't want to waste the interlock.


Please what's your take...any expert advice from the house.

It won’t work sir you have to remove the interlocks, you can reach out to us for stamp installation.
