SportsNigeria And Other Six Nations Being Treated Unfairly By LC2 & CAF For Tv Rights by Idriswhite(op): 3:23pm On Jan 20, 2013
Africa has huge problems. Football that ought to bring joy and love to every african is now been monopolised for the selfish benefit of some members of CAF and its accomplice LC2.It is time for Nigeria to stand up and fight for its right. Playing big brother to other african nations is really affecting our country. South Africa is paying €2million,together with other nations for television rights, why should Nigeria pay €6million?
LC2 believes Nigerians are football lovers and would pay any amount to satisfy their football urge. This unfair treatment has been going for years. It's time for 9ja to stand up and fight for common solution. Whats your take on this?

2. Accounting,Banking and finance, and Money Management
3. Primary and Nursery Education,Early Childhood Education and Primary Education Management.
4. Animal Fence and Wiring,Animal Science and Wide Life Management
I will really appreciate it if viewers contribute to the courses that should be merged

On hearing or watching film on campus life, students in lower schools would spent endless time fascinating campus life and the urge to be part of this life made some of these students to study hard so as to pass the monstrous exam that is like a ticket to enter campus life. Please tell us your campus life sweet experiences.

CultureWhere Are The Powers Of Our Traditional Rulers? by Idriswhite(op): 8:19pm On Jan 16, 2013
Traditional rulers in the days of old lived and ruled without fear from any angle. They lived up to their titles i.e Kabiesi(the one whom no one can questioned),alase ikeji orisa(the second in command to the gods) etc. They worked indefatigably to see that their kingdoms were progressing. Alas! It's so annoying how the powers of our traditional rulers diminished within a twink of an eyes. Most of the traditional offices and their occupants are mere shadow of old self. They just exist. There powers are gone. There mights dwindled so irritably that anyone of any birth could equal the monarch on sitting pedestral. Monarch of our time walk on road and passerby never stops for reverence. Their titles are now more of a mockery than the potencies it used to carry. Kabiesi can be questioned and even be removed from throne by government. Government now decides who becomes king and not the gods. With the these happenings,i wonder if our past monarches that are now resting in their solitary room will be happy at the diminishes of their thrusted positions

Nairaland GeneralVictim Of Certification by Idriswhite(op): 11:58am On Jan 14, 2013
To whoever is fortunate to come across this writeup,i hope you would learn not to rely on your strenght by the time you finished reading. It is good to read wide and to tackle issues alone using the knowledge you've garnered through reading. But over doing that in a country like ours rarely help instead,it leads to debacle. This is a fact i failed to acknowledge while i was in school. Throughout my stay in higher institution,i never cheated in any examination not because cheating is bad,i believed doing so would only hyped my certificate at the end. Had i know,i would have cheated like my peers and ended up having the kind of grades they had that made them to get employment easily.
I'm the reading type.I would spent nights reading even when i had no food to eat. I believed after my studies,i would get a good job and compensate myself for the sufferness i put myself through. It's an undisputable fact that i was one of the most brilliant students in my class. But i cried and shed hot tears when i finished with a low grades. My brilliancy did not reflect in my result and getting employment seems difficult.

Nairaland GeneralWhen Great Knowledge Dies by Idriswhite(op): 7:41am On Jan 13, 2013
Death is inevitable. Every living creature is sure to die at an appointed time. However, great number of people die with their ideas, knowledge and craft. Our World would have being a better place if everybody knows how to read and write. These rare ability would atleast give the assuming ineducable folks that often times have ideas to some basic problems like cure to deadly diseases, environmental phenomenon etc the ability to put down their ideas and cure of diseases in prints for others to read. Great number of good herbalists died with their great curative drugs. A man once re-lamented his father's death after some years when test revealed he had HIV/AIDS. He said his father could cure any diseases.
When great idea dies, the world remain inert. Average Nigerians have unique knowledge that when given optimum attention will save many people from early death that hunger is known to champion in this part of the world. If our government could be given a collateral free loan to only the average nigerians to develop their budding ideas,am sure our nation will soar competitively. Goverment should come to people's aid in giving birth to their due labour of idea. When great ideas and initiatives are born, then our world will be what we all wanted it to be.
Business To BusinessImmoral Business Sells Faster by Idriswhite(op): 6:09pm On Jan 12, 2013
Do you like immoral things? I expected you to say No even though the other side of you says Yes. Good things and informations are now dispersed here and there using immoral acts. This consolidates the fact that immoral things have great root in our environments and the world at large. Hotel sells nowadays not because we have many sojourners looking for where to pass the night,or many a meeting been held, but because many people patronise hotel for immoral acts. A business man who needs a business to invest in should consider hotel building.
We pretend not to like immoral things yet we prefer songs that would naturally not move market if not because of their immoral lyrics.ALL I WANT IS YOUR WAIST etc. This subconsciously promotes immoral things in our society. I will advice an artiste to compose songs with immoral lyrics even though he or she has no money to get the service of a good sound engineer. Immorality says itself.
Statistics have it that blue films sell faster compare to a religious song. Film producers no this fact, thats why they keep on producing semi blue films which you and I take delight in watching.
Immoralities are obvious in our society expect we fend blindness. However,Like what my lecturer said ' moral things sell in an immoral ways' lets transform our society and the world at large. Produce your films immorally with greater consequences and make morallity reign as king. Sing songs immorally with a touch of moral endings. In your hotel rooms, hang portraits that have moral lesson inculcations. Organise soap operas and reality shows with great rewards on songs, things of high moral standard. There is no way we can transform our society if we don't check ourselves.Look inward and you will be scared of the immoral things in you. This helps you to correct yourself and the world at large

CareerUniversity Courses That Are Waste Of Time by Idriswhite(op): 11:38am On Jan 11, 2013
People go to university to study a course in hope of future amelioration. However, most of the many courses that used to be hot cake in time past are whitewashed with the influx of many people who just learn the course outside university in a matter of months.Going to university to study the following courses many deem to be a waste of time. The courses are:
Computer Science-countless number of people are in the known in this field.
Theatre Arts/Music- Theatre arts is a free entry and exit field. Most people in the industry have no degree in the field.
Animal Science-The course isn't marketable in a country like ours where people give no value to the life of animals.
Philosophy-This course is more valuable in the olden days where people appreciate the thinkers not in our present time. The situation of the country makes everybody a thinker to survive in this country.
Political Science:Spending years studying this course is a waste of time and resources.People are procedure conscious when it comes to politics.how many political scientists are in position of power to regulate the politics of our country.

Which course do you also think is a waste of time that you can not study as well as your family?

Nairaland GeneralIs It An African Culture To Eat Fish & Meat When Food Ends Or Sign Of Poverty by Idriswhite(op): 8:03pm On Jan 06, 2013
Eating meat and fish when food ends is common.i think everybody does it.I do the same because my mother taught me the same. This makes me think eating fish and meat is an african culture.I grew up with this thought, not until i started mixing up with rich people that often eat fish and meat as consumption progresses.I began to question what my mother taught me about the time to eat fish and meat.I concluded within myself that my mother taught me that because we were not that rich.Eating meat and fish as food progresses would be disastrous for her.Am i right with my conclusion that EATING FISH AND MEAT IS SIGN OF POVERTY OR IS IT AN AFRICAN CULTURE AS I USED TO THINK? Your view is highly welcome.
