Using the quadratic formula to solve u² - 3u - 4 = 0
u = log x = 4 or u = log x = -1
ie. x = 10⁴ or x = 10^-1

Were height =0.5tan60

Area of triangle=0.5×1×0.5×tan60

=0.433013

Area of hexagon =6×0.433013

=2.598076

Area of all hexagon =15×2.598076

=38.971145m^2

Area of circle =22/7 x25=

Area of purple =(area of circle -area of all hexagon)/3

=(78.539861-38.971145)/3

=13.187592m^2
