The fact is that, dey are both eating onething, (swallow)

Weda western or African, tatoo is tatoo.

Africans in the ancient times, have beautiful tatoos, even when it was not drawn with a machine, the fact is that it is an African thing, how it is drawn has nothing to do with weda it made the people who they are.

U can as well tell me that marriages is a western culture, we have our own traditional marriages, they have their own white wedding, the fact that some of us now do white wedding does not in anyway suggest that we emulated "marriages" from the west.

The only thing that is constant in dis life is "change" itself, there is always a room for diversification. It is very different from "origin"

Why don't u look @ those clothes they are putting on and tell me it is also African if going by what u meant.

Because I know for sure, it was woven by a western machine and sewed with a western machine with a western thread.

U can not tell me that africans don't have what they cover themselves with in the olden days, we have "hides" even though they ain't as advanced as the type we wear today, the fact is that we do have something over our bodies and dat we didn't emulate from the west.
chai all dis tins to prove ur point guy maka y na who get strength to read?

Thanks. This is very impactful. As regards the reading issue, I have come to realise that most Nigerians don't maintain the habit of reading which is not encouraging.

Even in Nairaland here, taking it as a case study, many peeps are fond of quickly shunning long threads (which may not be that lengthy) and calling them trash or what not.

No wonder a white man said said once that Blacks are fools because they don't read books and in doing such embracing ignorance, and ignorance of course comes with a huge price.

If only our youths could use half of the time they idly waste away and lavish in unimportant activities in flipping through the pages of valuable and knowledgeable books, then that would impact in them valuable knowledge, broaden their horizon of the world out-look and give them a clear insight into judging situations and handling life's issues.

We won't be hearing of countless rape cases, the daily menance caused by touting youths will reduce meaningfully, and the youths will get to know that our so called politicians are only manipulating them as tools to achieve their selfish ends, accidents will reduce as car owners would make sure that they are well trained before hitting the road, suicidal cases will be nearly unheard of cause individuals will learn to value the greatest thing in life - LIFE - and know that taking one's life is an act of sheer cowardice and is not the solution to the unbearable misery they so want to escape from.

Maybe by then Nigerians as a whole will start thinking for themselves instead of letting others do their thinking.

Enough said.
the white man dat said dat is a fool, because reading a book is equivalent to listening to someones opinion reading is just a subtitue to listening

From what u typed above, u have the following traits
1). Always asking for public opinion even with critical issues that needs deep thinking
2).You dont know how to apply public Opinion e.g, Your ex/babe wanted to get married, you knew, she came to you to offer u forbidden fruit, you came to Nairaland to ask wether to chop or not even when u know she has been clearly taken and it wasn't right,
You got the opinions but u couldn't even seive it and so you chose to chop Apple
3)At the point of chopping apple, you put ur brain under the pillow cus according to you, it was both of ur first time and you didn't wear a Sheath(Knowing she was another's wife now) and anything can happen.
4)You don't know how to look beyond the present
5)You are Naive and inexperienced.....
I can go on and on and on and on ..........Just to buy time to find what to say to you.

Whatever decision you take, Make sure you don't conceal this information from her would be husband now, I don't see you as strong enough to handle what would come from the future if you bottle this. I wish you success.
Lest I forget my brother, you are really in Draw soup
I see some flaw in ur analysis

1 seeking advice on sex dosent mean always seeking 4 public opinion, sex is a tin u ought to be taught abut like sex education bt africans shy away frm it dats y he came here

2 d fact dat he had sex wit her wasn't bcus he dosent know aw to use public opinion bcus m sure a good percentage wuld av told him to use protection he only did wat he intended to do frm d onset

3 everybdy knws wen u are about to sex u dnt reason of d consequence dats y I didn't use protection

4 nd u dnt av solid proof to say he dosent tink beyound of d present actually if he dosent, he would av come to ask for advice. He taught beyound d present nd came to seek advice.

Lemme rest here cuz I can also go on nd on nd on

I can tell you for certain I know a friend who did runs quite into the extreme and who is happily married now. Before marriage, she had built a house for herself somewhere on the outskirts of Ikeja, was driving at least two choice cars and vacationed steadily outside of the country. After school she got a job at a bank where met her man. I don't know if he learnt about her past, but I don't think he cared either. She was always an independent one and had kinda carved out a comfortable living for herself. I guess the guy was attracted to her in some way.
She has a kid now.
