LEGITLAYO:
I think it's about time I introduced myself to this family.
I've been an avid reader for the past 4 months and have been anticipating when I'd own my own device...
I saved up and finally was able to get the redmi note 5 from ifedith . ( God bless you man).
Anyways, the whole point of this testimony is to tell y'all that I'm happy to be here.
Long live xiaomi .

Gurus in the house, Good Morning all. I am looking at ordering a Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus from Gearbest, I just need to know these information please:

1. I want to pay with my atm card, and I noticed I can pay in dollars though there was also an option of paying in Naira. I would prefer paying in dollars because converting the amount charged to Naira is much higher than when I pay in dollars.
2. The shipping options presented to me for getting the phone is SIGNPOST (REGISTERED AIRMAIL), are their services okay and do the deliver as expected?
3. The other items I want order will be shipped via NETHERLANDS REGISTERED (REGISTERED AIRMAIL), also do they deliver items as expected without issues?
4. Lastly, will the items be delivered to my doorstep (the address I provided) and do I need to pay customs and the likes?
Thanks in advance for all pointers and advice.

If some people nor take advantage of this Jumia slashed prices on the redmi note 5 and redmi 5 plus though, won't get a better deal on these two devices in the nearest future.

adanny01:
Guys, i want to join the Xiaomi band after my horrific experience with Infinix Hot 3. I hate a phone that lags so i dont want anything mediatek, plus 2g ram is the new min.

My Jumia search narrowed it down to Redmi 5 vs Mi 5. They are not it the same league.

I like the Mi 5 better but for 3 things, 2016 phone, small size 5.15 screen and the unpopular usb c type. All phones i compared it to at same price range falls behind it.

Redmi 5 battery and camera is not up to expectation though price is affordable.

Please advice.

Modified.

Redmi 5 screen resolution is bad too
