Okay understood...one thing I understand is Sammy makes phone for Western countries while Xiaomi makes for mid range countries..
I'm using redmi note 7 phone is good, plays game like console, sound is superb , charging is fast, battery life is good, camera is wow no issue so far no regrets.
Get my point Xiaomi is a good brand but Samsung is a better brand.

I don't think anyone has suggested otherwise, that Xiaomi is a better brand than Samsung... What we say is in this price range from here to here... this device is best considering all things including Brand name.... U can't be the best defender and same time be the best attacker... Na so e just be... Xiaomi is no small company. They make budget friendly phones. As for Samsung making phones for Western country, and Xiaomi only for mid-range countries, that's not true, Samsung was losing market big time in areas wer Xiaomi is winning to the point they had to restrategise with the A series.... Samsung needs all money, e no consign dem wer it comes from... India or Nigeria, why did u think Xiaomi came to Nigeria, they all need our money to survive, they're making phones to anyone who can afford it irrespective of who u are...

Capital NO,... You'll find a better device than Redmi 7 from Samsung, yes... personally, wen I go flagship range, Samsung rules them all, hence u Don't hear much hype from the flagship segment from Xiaomi, but midrangers, Samsung still behind Xiaomi in that segment... Hence the hype. Just like the hype from the s10 series.... Hope u get the drift?
Amd as for Google pixel, remove the camera, and what u have is an expensive shit... Oppo and vivo are Huawei lab rats... Huawei goes into the luxury range of products... That's one area wer Xiaomi isn't am household name... u understand?

Depending on the device sha...i use third party fonts... infact i dont even use store fonts and it works just Fine in my Redmi 5. I notice the Redmi note 7 and 7 dont do Well with third party fonts without tweakings.

I switched regions, changed the theme, and applied a third party font, then switched back to Nigeria. Everything works well untill after a while, it resets back to the default theme. Then when i try to set the theme again, is says i should reboot and when i do, the third party font i applied before, goes back to the default one.

Third party fonts would always reset ur Home screen to default... Just keep using India region to get ur fonts.... that way rebooting wont remove ur fonts or would it reset by itself. And when u apply Some themes, some would ask that ur should reboot to reset fonts, dont reboot, u dont have to reboot to apply themes.
