Politics / Buhari Lied: Old Wine In A New Jar Goes Sour And Must Be Cast Away-ifeduba by ifedubatoochukw: 8:47pm On Jun 17, 2015
Buhari Miss quoted a well know proverb. When you put an old wine in a jar of new wine the whole stuff go sour and must be thrown away intoto.

Nigeria is a New or rather young democracy that needs new blood to be injected not old and congile blood which Mr President want to convince us in broad day light that it will get better.

The truth is that Buhari have just conceded what we have been arguing since day one that HE CANNOT BE THE SHANGIYA WE ALL SEEK. Nigeria need new and fresh wine in a new and fresh Jar! Enough of this unhealthy mixtures

Politics / BuhariGate Scandal: Tunde Idiagbon Introduce War Against Indiscipline Not Buhari by ifedubatoochukw: 8:27pm On Jun 02, 2015
It appears that Nigerians have just been scammed by the current president Mr Buhari , a brief research we are forced to conduct about Buhari much applauded exploits in 1984 during his short 20 month regime have shown that the major backbone of that administration was actually Major General Babatunde idiagbon and not Buhari as widely speculated. we are forced to conduct this research based on some early obvious sign of tremendous clueless altitudes unexpected from the so called father of war against Indiscipline Mr Buhari.

Some of those clueless attitudes includes

FG withdrawing the Corruption case against former Bayelsa Governor

Former Adamawa state Governor being released by the EFCC

Failure to Declare Asset

Wife wearing expensive wrist watch worth millions while he pretend he do no have money to purchase Apc nomination form and drinking of 40 naira satchet milo

It is obvious that Nigerians may have been scammed historically Tunde Idiagbon may have been that change we aspired while mistakenly voting for the wrong man who dwells in another man's shadow?

BELOW IS A WIKIPEDIA WRITE UP ATTRIBUTING THE SUCCESS OF WAR AGAINST INDISCIPLINE AND MANY OF THE SAID POLICY TO TUNDE IDIAGBON..

Babatunde "Tunde" Idiagbon (14 September 1942 – 24 March 1999) was a Nigerian army officer and a one-time member of the Nigerian military juntas of 1966–1979 and 1983-1998 Nigerian military junta which ruled that country. He served as a military administrator of Borno State in the 1970s in the military administration of Olusegun Obasanjo. Following the ouster of the civilian administration of Shehu Shagari at the end of 1983, he rose to become the Chief of Staff, Supreme Headquarters and de facto Vice President in the military administration of Muhammadu Buhari.

BUHARI ADMINISTRATION
In this role, he was the de facto second-in-command and was responsible for implementing many of the government's policies. Chief amongst these was the War Against Indiscipline (WAI), which was a campaign to eradicate corruption and disorderliness in Nigerian life.

Life after the Buhari Administration
After 20 months in power, the government of Buhari was overthrown by Ibrahim Babangida. Idiagbon was removed from his position in this coup, and he was placed under house arrest for 3 years. After his release, he returned to civilian life in his hometown of Ilorin, Nigeria, where he died in 1999 of an unknown illness after returning from a conference. Rumors have circulated about Idiagon dying from poisoning, however these rumors remain unsubstantiated.

Politics / Buhari's Apc Change: A Change Long Overdue Nigerians Dying In Scores-ifeduba by ifedubatoochukw: 4:43pm On Jun 02, 2015
Nigerians Voted for Change rather than positive change we have continued to witness a tremendous upsurge and escalation in Boko Haram activities( the hallmark of negative change) .The much promised Buhari change is long overdue as we Nigerians can no longer wait for the much expected change while our brothers and sisters in the far north are being killed on daily basis .

We voted massively for change because it was our collective believe that Buhari's change will put an end to this blood shed the major reason why we rally together as Nigerians to vote out the Government Of Mr Goodluck Jonathan, the change is long overdue we Patriotic Nigerians can no longer wait while our people are dying in scores every day. Buhari being a much applauded Military General we expect Change Sooner than Later

Politics / Dissecting The Blunder In Buhari I Belong To Everybody Speech-ifeduba by ifedubatoochukw: 12:03pm On Jun 01, 2015
President Buhari on the 29th of May 2015 during his swearing in ceremony uttered this controversial speech that have continued to generate a lot of issues and debates from various quarters as a political Analyst we shall closely study the implication of the said speech and what it portrays for the people of Nigeria ..

Extract of the Presidential speech

***Having just a few minutes ago sworn on the Holy Book, I intend to keep my oath and serve as President to all Nigerians.
I belong to everybody and I belong to nobody.
A few people have privately voiced fears that on coming back to office I shall go after them. These fears are groundless. There will be no paying off old scores. The past is prologue******

Implications
The unsavory speech by President Buhari is a direct contradiction to the oath of office he just took few minute before then. there is no grammar as to where the allegiance of the President of Nigeria belongs it is clearly spelled out in both the Presidential oath of office and the Nigeria constitution.

President Buhari does not belong to everybody and Nobody there is no argument here or confusion He Belongs to THE GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OF NIGERIA in fact he ceased to be an Independent man the moment he took that presidential oath and automatically become the servant of the people and must be held accountable in words and action from that very moment thereof

Below is the Presidential Oath of Office for the President and commander in Chief of Nigeria Armed Forces;

" The Constitution of Nigeria specifies an oath of office for the President of the federation. The oath is administered by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria or the person for the time being appointed to exercise the functions of that office:

“ I do solemnly swear/affirm that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to the Federal Republic of Nigeria; that as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I will discharge my duties to the best of my ability, faithfully and in accordance with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the law, and always in the interest of the sovereignty, integrity, solidarity, well-being and prosperity of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; that I will strive to preserve the Fundamental Objectives and Directive Principles of State Policy contained in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; that I will not allow my personal interest to influence my official conduct or my official decisions; that I will to the best of my ability preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; that I will abide by the Code of Conduct contained in the Fifth Schedule to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; that in all circumstances, I will do right to all manner of people, according to law, without fear or favour, affection or ill-will; that I will not directly or indirectly communicate or reveal to any person any matter which shall be brought under my consideration or shall become known to me as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, except as may be required for the due discharge of my duties as President;AND THAT I WILL DEVOTE MYSELF TO THE SERVICE AND WELL -BEING OF THE PEOPLE OF NIGERIA. So help me God.

Politics / MASSOB And The Nigeria Police Clash In Owerri by ifedubatoochukw: 10:52pm On May 31, 2015
MASSOB, Police Clash In Owerri

May 31, 2015

Members of Movement for the Actualisation Of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) yesterday had a confrontation with the police at the Assumpta roundabout in Owerri, the Imo State capital, while riding in a motorcade to the heart of the state capital in commemoration of the MASSOB Day celebration, during which they were teargased by the police.

An eyewitness, who disclosed this to LEADERSHIP Sunday, said that the police who had stationed their vehicles at the popular Control Post, Owerri, asked the MASSOB members to retreat but they kept advancing, prompting the police to use teargas to disperse them.

The witness further disclosed that the members of MASSOB who were over 500 in number, hauled stones at the police who got angry and shot in the air to scare them away.Massob

The state commissioner of police, Austin Evbakvbokun, while confirming the incident to LEADERSHIP Sunday said that the police had to intervene by halting the advancement of the MASSOB members to the state capital because they did not have a permit for such gathering.

He added that the Igbo pressure group movement conducted themselves in a disorderly manner, carrying insignias not of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, necessitating the prompt action of his men to stop them.

“How can they say that they were peaceful when they conducted themselves in a disorderly manner, carrying insignias that are not of the nation? We had to disperse them, they are not a nation, they are expected to have a permit before embarking on any such gathering,” Evbakhavbokun said.

Meanwhile, speaking during the 2015 MASSOB Day celebration, the apex Leader of the Ijaw Youth Council, Alhaji Asari Dokubo, faulted the amnesty granted to the ex-Niger Delta Militants by the late President Umuaru Musa Ya’radua, alleging that it was a bribe meant to tap oil from the Niger Delta region, adding that it was the basis why he rejected the offer.

He also condemned the National Conference organised by the federal government, insisting that the exercise did not represent the views of the Niger Delta region that is yearning for a referendum.

“It only represented the views of the rest of the country. Let us be allowed to have a referendum. We have the right to hold a referendum on where we want to go,” he stated.

The Ijaw Youth Council leader described MASSOB and his group as partners in progress who are moving in the same direction to arrive at a common destination as one people and one nation.

He advised the nation’s leaders to always hearken to the worthy yearnings and aspirations of all aggrieved component parts in order to avert frequent violent confrontation, saying, “those who make change impossible make violence inevitable.”

How can you compare mango to Apple? The U.S. War you guys are talking about is not within the country, how can they move such from their country to another man's land? But with the so called boko, our military command can be anywhere in the country as long as it does not pose threat to the national security. It is a temporary thing, you all are bloody civilians and don't know if it is a tactical strategy or not, why not wait and see if it does not work B4 throwing tantrum

The argument whether The USA war is within the American soil or not is inconsequential given the fact that the major issue at stake here is the military rationale of moving a Central Military Command of an entire Sovereign nation right into the Combat zone at the front line in a fight against a mobile Asymmetrical forces .. To me this is an erroneous military move which is no doubt aimed at political gimmicks

If Boko haram(some ragtag terrorists) should over run our command center which you call the ENGINE, Then i dont think we deserve an army. The problem you have is that you dont believe in our army or you over estimate the power of Boko haram. But i dont blame since the last administration was clueless.

I repeat once again the Central Military Command are not combatant soldiers they are experts there you find computer scientist manning the drones and satellite images rebroadcasting Enemy troop location to the combatant soldiers on ground and the airforces, there you even find Military nuclear experts etc..

they gather information, plan and cordinate military assaults ...

Central Military Command is an intelligent unit in the Army that is where military operation is directed using satellite images .. Buhari in this single directive acted as a man who is no longer in touch with modern military techniques

Nigeria military Command Area Of Responsibilty covers the whole of Nigeria and outside Nigeria where our troops are stationed currently

so it is very much senseless to relocate such a unit with sensitive data right at the frontline as if modern military intelligent information is gotten by trekking around sambisa forest in the middle of the Night? what are military satellites for? and surveillance drones?

Buhari did not relocate the command centre to another country according to your argument. The relocation of the command centre will send a strong message to Boko haram that its not business as usual. And besides, its not like its the whole military that was relocated there, its just a section of it.

THE MILITARY CENTRAL COMMAND IS THE ENGINE ROOM OF THE ENTIRE NIGERIA FORCES INCLUDING ARMY NAVY AND AIRFOCE all their cordinated strikes is control from this command base... even BOTH NIGERIA COMBAT AND SURVEILLANCE DRONE IS CONTROL FROM THERE.. IF BOKO HARAM OVER RUN THIS BASE NIGERIA IS DOOMED ALL OUR DATA CODES AND DRONES AND MISILES WILL FALL INTO BOKO HARAM HAND

Politics / Buhari First Blunder Why I Oppose Relocation Of Military Command-ifeduba by ifedubatoochukw: 7:19pm On May 29, 2015
President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday in Abuja directed the central command of the military to relocate to Maiduguri, Borno, to intensify the fight against Boko Haram insurgency.

Buhari, who gave the directive in his address after his inauguration, said it was impossible to achieve victory against the insurgents if the command continued to operate from Abuja.

He said that the command center would relocate and remain in Maiduguri until the insurgents were subdued.

No where in the History of world military History will the military central command be located right in the combat zone it is the height of unprofessional-ism which is about to force me to revisit the issue of Buhari certificate scandal. let us use the United state of America model as a case study .

Military Central command are non combatants they are not infantry units but expertise from various field of course

Structure

Central Command headquarters staff directorates include personnel, intelligence, operations, logistics, plans & policy, information systems, training & exercises, and resources, and other functions. The intelligence section is known as Joint Intelligence Center, Central Command, or JICCENT, which serves as a Joint Intelligence Center for the co-ordination of intelligence. Under the intelligence directorate, there are several divisions

In the United State the Central Military Command directs four "service component commands" and one subordinate unified command and no fighting units directly subordinate to it:

The United States Army Central (USARCENT), and the United States Air Forces Central Command (USAFCENT), both headquartered at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina, the U.S. Marine Forces Central Command (USMARCENT), headquartered at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida and the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (USNAVCENT), headquartered at Naval Support Activity Bahrain in the Kingdom of Bahrain. MacDill Air Force Base also hosts a Sub-unified command called the Special Operations Command Central (USSOCCENT).

In 1983, U.S. Military Central Command was established to succeed the Rapid Deployment Joint Task Force, formed at MacDill AFB, Florida on 1 March 1980, to handle US national security interests in Southwest Asia, Central Asia and the Persian G

The USA Central Military Command main headquarters is located at MacDill Air Force Base, in Tampa, Florida. A forward headquarters was established in 2002 at Camp As Sayliyah in Doha, Qatar, which in 2009 transitioned to a forward headquarters at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar to serve American strategic interests interest in the following countries as the Area of Responsibilty.

Area of Responsibility Countries for USA Central Military Command Located in Mac Dill Air force Base in Tampa Florida..

Afghanistan
Bahrain
Egypt
Iraq
Jordan
Kazakhstan
Kuwait
Kyrgyzstan
Lebanon
Oman
Pakistan
Qatar
Saudi Arabia
Tajikistan
Turkmenistan
U.A.E.
Uzbekistan
Yemen

Tactically its a great Blunder for Mr Buhari to relocated the Military Central command right into sambisa forest when he knew quite well that these people are non combatants they are not infantry soldiers and their area of responsibilty covers a wider area than just boko haram. they monitor , deploy and protect both Nigeria air land and water from both internal and external aggression.

Relocating Nigeria military Central Command to frontline war zone is the most senseless decision any president have ever taken and such action is capable of endangering Nigeria external security an outside force may invade the nation of Nigeria in time like these..

This wrong decision calls for us to revisit Buhari certificate scandal and how he come about his title of Major General when he is incapable of simple kindergarten Military Decision

Biafran National Guard calls on FG to release detained MASSOB members

on May 29, 2015 / in News 12:33 am / Comments

By Chimaobi Nwaiwu

Nnewi—Biafran National Guard, BNG, a breakaway group from the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has called on the Federal Government to release all the 35 members of MASSOB being held in Enugu and Anambra State prisons and others detained in other prisons in the country.

The arrested Biafra Zionists Federation, BZF, members on parade.
The group in a statement issued by Mazi Godswill Okoro, Personal Assistant to the National Leader of BNG Mr. Innocent Orji, said it had become very imperative to release all the MASSOB members being detained all over the federation because they were not known to have committed any offence that should warrant their continued incarceration.

The call came, even as the group celebrates the 48 years of Biafra after the Biafran/ Nigerian Civil War of 1967 which led to the loss of many lives of both Biafran and Nigerian Army troops.

The group thanked all its members for their commitment and support, especially during the burial of late Dim Ojukwu and for responding to the recent remembrance and honouring of all the dead Biafrans massacred in 1966.

They were honoured at Alex Ekwueme Square Awka on January 12, 2015.

“We also use this 48 anniversary to commend the Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and all the crew and Uche Mefor at Radio Biafra, London, for the marvelous work they are doing, including all their tireless effort in educating, sensitizing and orientating all indigenous people of Biafra globally,” he said.
