I've recently purchased a 10th generation Honda Accord and it's currently in Lagos. I've been advised by my Mechanic and a few friends to not drive the car down due to the bad roads, they have advised me to pay a company 300K to have it transported over a carrier to Abuja. However, the importer has advised against it and assured me there'd be no problems if I pay 70k for it to be driven down.

I'm really undecided, especially considering that the new Accords are relatively low and Hondas are not as strong. I'm hoping other people can share their experiences. I do not want to spend an extra 230K if I don't need to. However, I will gladly pay if it will avoid additional expenses. The importer has told me the drivers are very experienced with the roads and are careful drivers.

Please advise and share your experiences.
