I'll like 2 congratulate all nairalanders dat have successfully written their exams.I wrote mine in minna and it was splendid,though there was a problem dat made some of us scheduled for 9am 2 finish some minutes after 4pm.it was power,d generator was fluctuating in its function.Being on d 15 question,it will just go off.making us start entirely different question when d computer boots.This made me 2 knw d a particular set of questions is not assign 2 a particular candidate.Could u beleive dat i answered 3 sets of questions yrst.though d 1st and 2nd became invalid when d light went off.But i tank GOD 4 everything.Wishing y'all a wonderful POST UTME SCORE.
I later missed out of d thread due 2 some technical problem.But i'm fully back.

Wrote mine same centre. almost all the questions were english except one current afairs(which year was goodluck J sworn in ans: 6 may, 2010) and one maths which was simple but couldnt answer it due to time.

pls note this particular questions. We are fond of making mistake in this regard:

When "as well as", "together with "is used in a sentence, the verb that follows it should be singular e.g

Ade as well as his brother(s) IS coming to the party
Kunle together with his Dad IS going to the market

That is, "IS' should be used and not are.

So i'm advicing u to read each question & it's option @least twice cos anxiety may blindflood your eyes to sum text in d question (like seeing neareast in meaning instead of opposite in meaning; seeing not included instead of included; seeing advantages instead of disadvantages), so reading it in d 2nd time wil make u review your mistakes. @all. Just finished my schedule now and it's monday 16, FUTMINNA CENTRE. But, please while printing my form, i discovered that:

1. My middle name did not appear whereas it's on unilorin portal. I printed it anyway.
2. The logo at the top of the form i printed from ETC site is kwara state polytechnic's not unilorin logo. I guess it's an error from ETC web designers.

Edit my details gbam and everything including the 5 o level subjects showed gbam. I think Unilorin database was initially designed to capture some certain fields excluding 5 0 level subs. On this note, it is pertinent for all candidates to go to the site and edit/update his record and re-save. This must have a reason cos the last time i checked it wasnt showing 5 o level subjects. but now, it's okay. please do so immediately u see this message.

Let's bear in mind that the issue of timing cannot be overhemphasized. unilorin questions are desined such that; irrespective of number of questions you have taken, it throws you out as soon as ur 20mins is up. That means one has to work hard and beat the time. You could leave the question at hand if it's too difficult for you, then go to the next question and then come back to the particular question after answering the simplest ones,

Big_Bug_Ben, U are mouthed. Argument is not in my way of life. I'm not here to confuse or cajole anybody. What you wrote maybe true, but i take it that; Unilorin may want to copy U.I. the argument is that; if U.I conducted interview before admisison, then let's all candidates prepare for interview before admission just to be on the safer side. But, considering the phrase "while all provisionally admitted students will be interviewed thereafter" one begins to question this argument. I will make sure i re-read the advert on the site and then revert.
