@Kam2k9. The fact that you calculated and you got 59 does'nt mean u are not going to be admitted.

@all, The calculation above is for merit list and not overall list that is, if one does not make the merit list, then one's name will probably be in the other list. so, if you calculated and did not get up to the score required for merit list, then wait for other list. We shall smile at the end.

To calculate your merit point just follow this step:
1. Divide your jamb score by 400 then multiply it by 30
2. grade point for your 5 best relevant subject divide by total obtainable point which is 25points multiply by 30. Note: C6, C5, C4= 3points, B3, B2= 4points & A1= 5points.
3. your post-utme score divide by 100 multiply by 40.
then add everything together. dats your merit point.lol

@Skmoda. Since Physiology, Microbiology and Anatomy are sub-medicine courses, according to Bigbug, 65% should be required. See, even though you have 55 or aleast more than 50, one stands a chance of getting admission. Dnt be suprised when u see candidate with 54% or something given admission before 70% candidate it's a matter of luck, who you know and prayers. If i told you research i have made on this admission stuff, you will be surprised.


But, What i have not known is; the criteria they will use for DE students.

@Skmodal. Just as i said before, u dont need to panic since you chose unilorin 1st and 2nd. The worst they could do is give u ur second choice. But, could you belive that some people are given medicine with less score to yours? GUY, just believe u are in Ilorin already. As for admission time, as soon as everybody is through with post UME then, collation will take place. We shall all resume with returning students come Sept. Ameeeeeeen

@Valendo and davson. You guys scores are good. What we all need do is pray for god's favour and guidance. May we all excel ameeeeen. Just as Timilehing said, regardless of your Post UME score one can be given any course at all.

@Bolusky, i checked 2times with hard labour cos the site was slow then. some people cheked thrice others times without number. Regardless of your number of trials, if the result is not uploaded, there is nothing u can do than excercise patience nd check later. Or let me have ur Reg number and surname so that i check for u. Just relax, it will be well.

@Mr. Alberth what kind of enquiry is that? are you ready to help? then say your capability please.

@Bolusky. I know u are panick but the zero u saw signifies that your result has not been uploaded yet. You could go back and check later in the day. What i'm very sure of is that; you cannot have zero(0) as a score unless you did not answer any question correctly which is rear. Even if you were not able to submit during the screening, the officers there are meant to help you do that. Just relax and keep checking.

@Skmodal. nothing is wrong with ur score. you have tried a lot. atleast you have more than cut-off of 50. Though ur course is medicine, but u could find somebody to help so that they give u your medicine. if worst comes to worst, they may give u another course under medicine. But, atleast you will be given admission.

@all, let's not be ashamed of our scores. We should rather thank God everything. What we do/say does not define us, what really defines us is the ability to rise after falling and there is no success without failure. So, what we should do is find a way forward.


As for me, i scored 58 (least expected), chose computer science 1st and Telecom science 2nd (Direct Entry). I believe with my Strong upper credit of 3.46/4.0 i will be given admission by all means. I will be given Telecom Sci. if not comp scie,
