Congratulations too.

Is it for this coming Winter?

When did you apply?

Any Skype Interview?

Winter.
November last year
No Skype. Although, I didn't apply through the regular Friedrich Schiller portal. I applied to one of their program directly, and they have a different way of assessing their applicants.

Hi All,

Please, I received this message from UNi-Assist today, and I am wondering if anyone has had a similar setback and how they tackled it.

The following documents were either not submitted, or were not sufficiently certified: Confirmation of the grading system applied by your school or university
Unfortunately, we cannot convert your average grade into the German system due to the lack of the grading system applied by your university for your degree programme. We need information on the highest possible mark and the lowest pass mark required for a bachelor's degree to be awarded by your university. The lowest pass mark for individual subjects is not relevant for the conversion of your grade.

I submitted my BSc Transcript from UNN, and that had my cumulative CGPA in it.... I don't know what else they want....

Please, help your bro...

They need the minimum cgpa in which a degree can be conferred. For my own school, the minimum class is third class, and the grade is from 1.50... So, 1.50 is the minimum pass grade. The total point of the scale is 5.00

Sure. What DAAD requires is that your letter must be letter headed, signed, dated and stamped. However getting a recommendation letter/ employment letter from an institution/organisation where their job mission is related to the course you are applying to will be a strong asset to your application.

Hi Sir, sorry my questions are much. I'm trying to help a friend..
Do you know if DAAD will contact the organization for confirmations?

Hello everyone. I hope we are all doing okay. I`m a graduate of Chemistry education and would love to enroll for an Chemistry-education related masters(Masters of Education M.ed) in Germany. I`ve searched Daad.de but can`t seem to find anything of such. I want to know if Germany offers this and how can i go about finding this. Thanks in advance!!!

Hello bro, why don't you focus on a pure chemistry related MSc? I think it has a lot of opportunities. I also did Physics and Education in Nigeria and I'm going for a pure physics related Masters.

No. I am a DAAD scholarship holder and I got the DAAD scholarship with zero knowledge of Deutsch.

Hello Sir, I sent you an email request.
I want to know if DAAD will confirm my professional experience from the organisation that gives me the letter. Also, must the organization be registered corporately?

Why don't you use TNT ?
Just go to FedEx courier and inform them you want to use TNT . it's cheaper and your documents should get to your destination within 4-6days

Hello, please what's the meaning of TNT?

Pls champions, I want to confirm if German grade point average of 2.5 means 2.5 cgpa in Nigeria system too? I saw something like their 3.0 meaning 3.0 cgpa in Nigeria on google. Anyone with latest information on this pls?
Thanks in anticipation.

You can use the link below to convert your grade to German equivalence.

For your first question, the language proficiency requirement depends on the school and not DAAD. I submitted an English proficiency statement from my school and it was accepted.
Secondly, your NYSC working experience will be counted as part of the 2years work experience but preferably a professional working experience that is related to the program/course you are applying to.

Wao! I so much appreciate you for these answers.

Hello bro, pls permit me to ask few questions about the EPOS DAAD scholarship.
Firstly, in the list of schools and courses, I saw a school with a course that permits English proficiency letter instead of the tests. Is this sufficient or daad itself requires a test compulsorily?
Secondly, about the two years professsional experience, can someone use the one year of nysc to be part of it? In case the person finished his/her degree about 2 years ago and wish to claim that for an organization, won't DAAD ask of his/her nysc stuff?

Most institutions in Germany are tuition free but to enjoy it, you need to show that you are capable of taking care of your living expenses. That's where blocked amount of €10,236 comes in.

Before you are given visa, you need to open to open a block account and fund it with the substantial amount of money.

Due to influx of international students, German government decided to categorize students based on their German level, certificate etc so they created two categories namely A & B

Category A is for students with German Language certificate, German taught masters, first class bsc, PHD program and Scholarship.

Category B is for people with 2.2,"second class lower" and others

These category A & B are for those who have gotten admission. After admission, the next step is to apply for student visa. I hope you find it helpful

Prost

Hallo!
You need to update yourself about the criterion for the categories. It has changed.

I await your reply.

I want to start BSC afresh in a free tuition university and a science course.

How do I find a list of universities that are free. I have a lot of questions please

You will need your 100 level transcript. Search through www.daad.de for schools

Okay. I didn't apply to the University directly..
They offer a special course at the faculty of Physics and Astronomy, so I applied directly to the course. My application has been submitted since December. So, it's very different from applying to FSU directly
