The society is made up of individuals. With every single individual embracing positive values, the negative ones will gradually move into oblivion.
Every society has it own positive value. Please stop downgrading your society.

What is positive in society A may be negative in society B. Mind you our approach to life differs in every society

Please, go ahead and buy the car. This is 2015, not 1970!

Live your life to the fullest. Sometimes our greatest enemies are those very close to us. They think they're doing us a favour or that they're protecting us, whereas they're simply keeping us mediocre and average. This, amongst other reasons, is why Africa is still largely underdeveloped; our minds are still pretty underdeveloped.

Any man who's intimidated by a lady's success should go and become successful.

Our society is in so skewed against our women.
Why is it any nonsense, na our society una go blame.

If a man is scared of you cos you have a car, then you dont even deserve that kinda man. Like i do say to people. If i earn N400,000 and my wife earns 2,000,000 monthly. BY Gods grace, i will still be giving her pocket money, i will be paying school fees etc

Its only a man with inferiority complex that feels such.
May God continue to bless you. I short na she go de ask you?

1.Could it be to gain popularity or to get noticed?
If it is to gain popularity i diasgree, because she had already attain a high level of fame immediately her husband became presido.
2.Or could it be as a result of the virture of her office probably being the wife of the president?
Its likely Possible because when you become a high public office holder people will expect much or more from you.
3.Or could it be out of pity or sympathy for the idp's?
Of course, we are all humans.

The problem is that the media tends to pay much attention to celebs because they see every activity of a celebrity as newsworthy. If i donate #500,000 to the orphanage nobody would give a damn because the name sirthisthickkal does not ring a bell but if it were to be a news of Wizkid sleeping on the floor of an airplane, every social media would be blazing.
So as a result, celebs have taken advantage of this medium in displaying there philanthropical nature to the public whether their motive are pure or diluted.

wrong! Not all, naturally some have a soft spot for the destitute probably because they experienced such upbringing or either they are cheerful givers by nature. As for the rest they force themselves into charity organizations just to tag along with other well meaning philanthropist. Or like you rightly mention to gain public sympathy or for publicity stunt. undecided
But ask yourself this question?

Before she gain public post, was she doing this before.

A question l want to ask? Why is it that whenever most people want to do philanthropist work., why will they advertise it.

I thought the BIBLE said whenever you are giving somebody something with the Right hand don't let the Left hand see it.

Women tend to age faster because
1. Lack of body maintenance
2. Make up
3. What they eat
4. Laziness
They don't know all what they are doing have effect some years later

he may not realise the damage that mindset can do to him until something befall him. It practically paralyse you. I grew up in a home where majority of my relatives are based outside the country, including my elder sister who sent us money. But I had always been someone who don't attach importance to money given to me except it's my sweat.
When my mother died and things became tough, my elder brother struggled to adjust to life due to high dependency and trust me, it's not the best.
I have since done greater things that marvel him.
The Nigeria we have today has made even going abroad look obsolete and nothing special as compared to the days when people were almost worshipping those diasporians, which one of my aunt took advantage of to mess those around her up.
But today, she is nothing much different from Nigerians that are home. In fact, some Nigerians do better here than those over there if you know your way.

BusinessForex Sale Will Start From 4th January Next Year by ifyan(op): 11:52am On Dec 24, 2015
Report reaching Nairausd disclose that CBN weekly forex weekly sales will begin on 4th Monday January 2016.

Last week CBN reduce the forex sale from $30,000 to $10,000 though no reason was given but we are optimistic of Naira appreciating over other currencies.

Plus CBN also plan to work with BDCs operators as an intermediate to PARALLELs operators on a way to curb Major currencies appreciating over the Naira.

But we hope there shouldn’t be scarcity of Dollar, B POUND etc within this short period of time.
