ak22: Sorry Sir, the expensive car that you know in Naija starting from how much ? Because you said 7m car or Suv is not expensive one . thanks I just want you to lecture me ni I don't mean it that way, 7m is actually a huge sum but when you hear expensive you'll be expecting to see some machine from 30m up. Hope you understand what I mean? |
Crime › Re: EFCC Arrests Two Yahoo Boys In Ibadan, Recovers Expensive Cars, Phones, Others by ifymadu: 6:26pm On Sep 11, 2019 |
GavelSlam: The Venzas we have in Nigeria were all used somewhere.
After all, they aren't brand new.
In addition, they are expensive cars.
In Nigeria, easily they go for 7 million Naira, a second hand car.
In the states easily 15K dollars for a used version.
Lastly, a country that produces nothing is not in the best position to underplay the value of sophisticated machines. 7m for Venza? Wow! It's about $7K down here though, below $10K |
Crime › Re: EFCC Arrests Two Yahoo Boys In Ibadan, Recovers Expensive Cars, Phones, Others by ifymadu: 5:02pm On Sep 11, 2019 |
GavelSlam: What are you saying?
Even Abroad it is not for just anybody. Oga, I'm saying what I know. If you caption a car as expensive we have a mental picture of cars that fall within that range, not a Venza that has been phased out of production. Venza was last produced more than 5 years ago. Don't get me wrong, it's a very reliable car and can move one from point A to point B but when you have a screaming cation "expensive cars" and now line up Venzas, then I don't know what else to think. Meanwhile, talking about abroad, you hardly see people driving a Venza, it's not a preferred car. Atleast in the abroad that I know. |

What a failed state, while the clueless president and his team will arrest and recycle members of the sect into society in the name of repentance. I remembered the active days of the Niger delta struggle how the airforce used to indiscriminately bomb villages in the name of fighting militants but now the are very careful not to kill cows grazing while the so called president is busy distributing pictures of himself picking his teeth. Gradually, the technically defeated boko haram is gradually dissipating the army... |

Cherishedcyn: The stupidity on this nairaland is epic sha. A poster asked what people in diaspora do and around 80% of the response seen is coming from jobless, lazy youths who probably haven't been in an aircraft before.
In saner climes you'll see people wait for those with experience to come and drop their input but no, every idiot here has to use this opportunity to exhibit his/her stupidity...must you comment ??
Again, what's with the job shaming people who do legal menial jobs to make a living abroad? Shows how lazy and silly the lot of you are.
Let's exercise those dead brain cells of some of you. Calculate the average minimum wage in Europe of 10 euros (Where 1 euro is equivalent to 390 naira) per hour by 40 hours a week. How many jobs can give you such salary in a week in Naija?
I know all these silly yapping na because una never get the opportunity. If some of the idiots dancing upandan on this thread reach the abroad, tori go change.
When them call una lazy youths una go begin para but that's what you all are; lazy Nigerian youths.
If I've learnt nothing in this my sojourn abroad, it's the fact that only a lazy man can be found wanting here. I have just one phrase for you, "God bless you". I was going to share some worthy experiences but reading through the junk comments discouraged me. All they know is tribal attacks and hoping for impossible miracles. |
