Only God know what transpired between them because i know rape cases have intriguing story lines attached to them. My dear, I'm just tired of the kind of childish comments coming from nairaland, what do I even expect from a gathering of children still under mummy's roof. They really don't understand what it means to be raped and the trauma such victims go through, people here just trivialize everything as if all is a joke. I really salute the courage of Timi and wife, this is something that must have been eating them up for a long time. I pray they go through this healing process and come out stronger and better. Rape is a very terrible crime and must be treated as such.

This case needs to be properly investigated, this is one allegation too many against the same pastor. It's not easy for a woman to speak up about being a victim in a rape case and that's why we should not just sweep this away cos the figure involved is a co called man of god. This is not just an ordinary rape allegation but against an underaged person at that time. I trust countries that believe in justice, by now they would have commenced a proper investigation to get to the root of these allegations.

You just summed it up, that's why Nigeria is where she is today. People reason from their anus and that's why rape victims are scared to speak up...stigmatization. In societies where normal humans live, the authorities would have set up a public prosecutor to begin proper investigations and if on the other hand the lady is found to be lying, she'll be charged as well.

But people will open their mouth and spew rubbish just cos a person says he is a man of god. Does that give him the right to do as he likes?

When will thieving politicians start getting this kind of sentence too? EFCC should focus some of these resources on politicians whose only duty is squandering the common wealth of the people thereby giving the youths limited or no options but to engage in crimes to make a living. Don't get me wrong, I'm not in anyway in support of cyber crimes but the dragnet should be spread properly.

Contrary to you opinion, Iran cannot stand the might of the US. The consideration here is the instability such an action will bring to an already unstable middle east. if the strike had gone ahead, Iran would have drawn America's friends in the region into the conflict by attacking countries like Israel and Saudi. Arms from Iran would have infiltrated the middle east and north Africa. No matter the kind of air defenses Iran thinks she has, they will fall to the fire power of the US airforce and navy. Remember, this will be a different game from the events in Afghanistan and Iraq as this will be a conventional warfare where state targets will be legitimate targets.
