This is wrong. No one is forcing people on anything. No one is grabbing land. Lets stop this narrative and educate ourselves with the correct information.

When you say south south? Who is south south?

Anyway... I just get surprised when i hear such about land grabbing and same people do not say fulani is doing land grabbing.

Before Amalgamation, we had southern Nigeria, which comprises of Kingdoms and regions..... If you can check that, it would end this wrong narrative being propagated by paid media

Edo or Delta? hmmmmm.. Lets use delta for example.... is Delta home for 1 ethnic group? No.... so we can't say Delta as a whole.

If you want the history, its everywhere.

First is check the Delta State logo and see if you recognize anything on Biafra flag.... Also check State logos for some present South South states for same thing....

He did not negotiate it alone? There were representatives before the Aburi meeting.. There were consultations here and there.

Biafra was never an Igbo thing as people widely believe due to media.

Ojukwu and Gowon agreed on restructuring Nigeria at Aburi, Ghana but Gowon came back and denied the agreement.
Millions of lives were lost because of that single denial from Gowon.
Today Nigerians are clamouring for the same restructuring they rejected 53 years ago.

An agreement was made in Ghana, Aburi and named it Aburi Accord, just like same US made with Middle east nations called Abraham Accord.

If it was respected by Gowon as agreed, today no body will be talking about division

Anioma that was created in 1951 by Chief Denis Osadebay. Anioma is a modern creation by a human we all know few years ago.
The migration is from East into Midwest not the other way around.
Don't make this mistake again.
Obosi, Oguta, Onitsha and other towns in Anambra and Imo are not part of your identity madness. People in Obosi and other towns don't even know what your Anioma is.
Besides present day Anambra and Imo have always been in Eastern region so how did the carving happen?
Anioma was for those in Midwest region created in 1951.

To stop this argument,Igalas in Anambra are minorities and they account for 2% of Anambra's population mostly inhabiting the North Eastern part of Anambra state,so you can't say Igala owns Anambra when their population is minute. Another state in the South East that has an ethnic group other than Igbo is Abia State,the Ibibios/Annangs/Ekois account for 4% of Abia state's population and most of them inhabit the Eastern part of the state on the border between Abia and Akwa Ibom state, some are bilingual;They speak both Igbo and Annang or Igbo and Ibibio.
Apart from the 5 South East state,Igbos can be found as Indigenous people in Delta North(Anioma),according to statistics,Anioma account for 40% of Delta's population,however,Aniomas from areas such as Ika and Ukwuani don't accept the Igbo tag despite the glaring similarities between them and the Igbos East of the Niger. The Igbo identity prevails more in the Enuani part of Anioma all the way to Asaba.
Another state where you can find Indigenous Igbos apart from South East is Rivers State. They account for 35% of their population and inhabit the Upland part of Rivers State, most of these Igboid communities were formerly part of Imo State. Part of Etche,Egbema,Ndoni,Omuma and Ogba were balkanized into Rivers State from Imo state,while their kits and kins still in Imo state are seen as Igbos by everyone, you'll see some people who want to delimit Igbo to the 5 SE States say these people who were balkanized from Imo and who exhibit the Igbo culture in all aspects are not Igbos,Part of Ndoki were balkanized from Abia into Rivers and called Oyigbo LGA(Obigbo),the remaining Ndokis in Abia State inhabit Ukwa East and Ukwa West LGA of the State. It is pertinent to note that though Igbo is widely spoken by Ijaw,Kalabari and Ogoni communities in Rivers State,they are not in any way Igbos.

Though there are very few Igbo communities in Cross River and Akwa Ibom,I will stop here.

Like in Imo... the Obigbo and some part of Abia were carved into Rivers state. Yes presently they are in rivers state but does it mean they are no longer Igbos anymore? Can u change your origin? No .. u cnt. Like i was explaining to somone here... that Imo, Abia are Niger Delta region.. and they are both Niger delta states..... but that doesn't mean both are not Igbo states. In Delta state.. Anioma population is about 45%. Some Anioma people were carved into Imo as well.... the Oguta area. also Anambra like Onitsha, Obosi, Ogbaru, Idemili area etc. That Anioma is in delta state doesn't mean they are not Igbos. In 1992 ZIk, Osademe and the rest leaders of Anioma wrote to IBB and they wr abt caring Anioma state whc is present Anioma land and Onitsha, Obosi, Nkpor, Idemili and surroundings. but most of this indomie generation do not know this. If that had happened mayb this generation wont be confused about certain things.

In a nut shell, Alaigbo is not only 5 SE states.....

What I am trying to say is even if Delta or rivers are part of present SS states, it does not mean that SOME PARTS of the states are not Igbo people.
and they are part of Ndigbo

Just like Imo and Abia are among Niger delta states... incase you do not know. Does it mean Imo ans Abi are not Igbo states? You may want to check this from the latest NDDC meeting

We are saying thesame thing. SE is a geopolitical zone. "GEO".. you may want to check the meaning. You or anyone cnt say who is Igbo and who is not..... okay. The Igbos know themselves and it runs from some present SS states, SE states and few in NC zone. Do you know how many states make up Ndigbo ohaneze?

Indigbo republic is better than that old struggle of a thing.You see, it would have been a totally different story if it was "Indigbo Republic" and not " Biafra" that entered the middle west (known as south south today)
in the 60s. they (ibos) would not have been regarded as foreigners.the change of name certainly alienated the South south people from the Biafrans.

Do you think Ndigbo is just only present 5 SE states? you mentioned SS, do you know Ndigbo are in SS states? Incrwae you are not an Igbo person. Ndigbo means Igbo people and Igbo people comprise of present SE and large number of SS and few in Kogi and Benue.

What I am saying is has the soldier gone to kill a whole village in the North after they were ambush by some and killed by bandits?

So if a bandit or a bad guy attacks a soldier means everyone in that village or community should be killed? is that how is it done in the North? How many times have Northern governors called the army to come kill their people despite the series of killing of military personnel going on there? Some things that happen in the south cannot happen in the north....

I have interviewed more than 20 people who live there and this is not the story. Lets be real. Even Dele Momodu went there to ask and see things himself. This is not the genesis of it.

However, lets say this is what happened (whc is NOT) is it a reason to send army to shoot at sight? If yes... why has same not been done in the north when Fulani would go and destroy Igbo market and their goods in the North? How many times have the army done same there? None.

Lets not see wrong as right because of ethnic difference.
