Urhobo and Isoko coming together have slight population above the Igbo people in Delta state. The state has 3 senatorial district and 25 LGAs. Delta North has 9 and the rest have 8 each.

Urhobo and Isoko have difference in Language and as such "for this context" they are distinct tribe in Delta state.

This leaves Igbo people the highest population of about 42% in Delta state. Please check

Delta is not an Igbo state, likewise not an Urhobo state.

Delta is a mixed state of Igbo people (Anioma), Urhobo, Ijaws, Isoko, Tshekiri , etc.. So one tribe cannot speak for the rest. If any single tribe will speak then it would be the Igbo because there have about 40-42% population of Delta state

In the book written by Obi Ebbe who as a Biafran Soldier was part of the Biafran invasion of the Midwest and Ore he admitted that Biafran Soldiers killed all non Igbos during their retreat from Ore through the Midwest back to the East because they didn’t want them to pass the information of their movement to the federal forces who were in pursuit behind them

Obi Ebbe was even honest enough to admit that Biafran Soldiers desperate to escape killed non Igbos in Cars and dumped their bodies by the side of the road after taking the Cars from them because there were not enough vehicles to transport the fleeing Biafran Soldiers back to the East. He included the Photograph of the road with the dead bodies of the Non Igbos on both sides of it for as far as the eye could see.

When the Biafran Soldiers invaded Asaba they Slaughtered all Northerners they found especially at Cable Point Which was the Hausa quarters read Gen Alabi Isama “Tragedy of Victory “

Every state/region should manage their resources

He even went further to suggest that Ishan division should be excluded from the “residual Midwest” for no other reason than because Ishan had a significant number of Action Group supporters. The government of the Western region, represented by Rotimi Williams, differed slightly from Fani-Kayode, by accepting that Afemai and Ishan divisions could join the proposed “residual Midwest”, implying the Benin and Urhobo divisions, if they wished. Talking about Ijaw, the former Ijaw nation president, Asari does not hide it that Ijaw is the heart of Biafra.
